This place has been my favorite bakery for years. DONT LET THE BAD REVIEWS OVERSHADOW THE GREAT THINGS THIS PLACE HAS. The tamales are great! Bolillos come out fresh. Champurro is very good as well!

Cute place and service is fine. Note to new customers: Probably best to be ready to speak Spanish if your order is unusual or complicated. Note to management: updating a menu online/providing more details would be helpful. I saw that on DoorDash you sold smoothies but once I got here I understood it was just orange juice and carrot juice. Still glad I came though. Muffin was good. Carrot juice tasted as good as carrot juice can taste 🙂

Food is amazing there but the service is awful. I visited the place around 1 pm and the cashier was really rude. We ordered 2 tortas, 1 tamale and a drink. One torta was ordered without onions and jalapeños on the side and they still got those ingredients inside my torta which wasn’t a big deal. We asked respectfully If they could fix it. The cashier took the torta to the back with a really bad attitude. I thought “maybe she is having a bad day” but it wasn’t the first time that we go through this situation at that place!

I ordered a cake for a birthday with days in advanced, the lady told me they would have it ready by whatever time I could come pick it up so I said at 1pm. The day I went to pick up my order that I had already payed for they hadn’t even made the cake yet. Very bad service.

No I didn’t have to wait “FEW MINUTES” for “FINISHING TOUCHES” the problem is that the cake hadn’t even been made at all. Even the lady at the counter apologized to me for the inconvenience and she even offered me the full refund. So don’t say things or assume things if you do not know what really happened. Please do better.

Please When I go to this store I want to buy bolillos from that morning not from two days ago. They try to make you buy the old ones even when they have the fresh ones inside. Same with tamales they just want to sell you whatever they want. Service is getting worst then before attendants act like they own the place.

Last dollar I’ll spend here. Was disappointed with the service here. They should have someone who speaks and understands English. We ordered a three tier birthday cake that was $101.00 . my wife had so much to do for this birthday party then she goes to pick up cake and was not offered any help taking it to the car and after I showed up and got the cake 10 minutes later they tell my wife about free local delivery.
