I so upset with the food that I just purchased. I ordered the most simplest thing to do which was a chorizo and egg burrito. One bite into it and all I tasted and saw was chorizo. I opened it up and it was all chorizo and like one egg scrambled on one side. I have given this place several opportunities to prove that I was not being special but when I have to pay close to 30.00 (bought chilaquiles- which to me was chips with cheese/ no better) I at least want some decent food. Everyone save their money and go somewhere else. This place is just not worth it

seeing 3 stars i was kinda of worried about if i should go or not but i took the risk so you wouldn’t have too. the service was GREAT!!⭐️ my severs name was maria and she made us feel welcomed and took really great care of us she is very respectful and polite and she even engaged in a conversation with us as we dined in she was my favorite part of my visit. now the food was not horrible but not it at all , i had 3 tacos which were not even seasoned at all my boyfriend had a burrito which he did not like at all same again the meat was not seasoned and didn’t have flavor . after all i would not recommend if your looking for good food but the service was great .

My boyfriend and I came in to get Horchatas on Christmas night. Leaving the place i dropped my horchata on the ground and it spilled everywhere. The worker was so kind to give me a new one free of charge. The horchata was extremely well made and the workers were very kind.

Wow 8:30pm and the food I ordered was fresh and hot. I got exactly what I ordered and it came super fast. Very happy customer here. I will be back. Thank u4 such a nice experience.

Breakfast was good. Avocado Toast was ok but Toast was cut thick which made it hard to cut. Skillet was good but not outstanding. Server was attentive & pleasant. All in all not great but nothing special.

Outside looks nice, but the food needs work. This is the taco dinner. I ate the third taco. They are small tacos, with very crispy meat. I asked for cilantro and onions. One of the tacos only has onions. The green sauce tastes water downed, while the “red” sauce is just spicy. The beans taste like they are from a can. The only fresh part of the beans was the cheese. The rice is dry and I wonder if it was frozen before. It could use some vegetables. The rice water came from a pitcher in the fridge rather than those fountains that keep the drink in movement. Refer to the picture above, I ordered a medium. This is next to the Slice Factory small.
The staff was neutral, I wouldn’t say they were anything above average.
The interior is beautiful.
I hope they can make improvements by making fresh beans and improving their rice.

I love El Chavis! My family now has a Taco Tuesday tradition, and El Chavis is the only restaurant that both has enough seats for us and great food.
The owners and workers are generous, sweet, attentive, and never fail to greet us.
The food is excellent — we really do stick to tacos, but the fajitas get rave reviews from my parents. Specialty tacos like cecina, suadero, tripas and chile relleno are wonderful and authentic.
Also, they finished renovations in the next storefront, so there’s even more space.
The atmosphere isn’t luxurious, but this place is so much nicer than other taco joints, which are normally colder and more plasticky than cafeterias.
We’re so glad to have El Chavis around!

This place is garbage. I’ve never had a soaking wet torta where the bread is dissolved nor had I ever had wet churros. When I called to complain the manager hung up and accused me of lying. My order was also missing 4 tacos that I ordered. On top of low quality food and service, they stole my money by not replacing the missing tacos.

It was a really nice vibe, but the food just wasn’t tasty. We had the Steak Tacos, Rice, Corn & Steak Burrito. The prices were very reasonable so definitely still try for yourself because we all have different taste buds, but as for me it’s a STRONG NO!

The reviews made me very hesitant to come here, but something told me to still try them at least once. I got a taco dinner, two chicken one ground beef. Chicken has nice flavor and is tender. I got the one beef for someone else but it looked good. Tacos were filled well they didn’t skimp on the meat, cilantro and onion. Rice and beans taste pretty good also, they didn’t taste frozen, I’d say they were standard. The green salsa was okay, but the red salsa tasted sour so I didn’t use the red. I eat a lot of tacos, I’ve had some bad ones, these were good imo. I recommend trying them for yourself too decide if you’ll give them a 2nd chance. I would.
