First time customer here. I got the pollo loco, quesabirria, and deep fried ice cream for dessert. I was not disappointed, the food was great, owner is very friendly, and the place was clean, most importantly the PORTION WAS HUGE worth the price. 10/10 would come back again.

Fantastic restaurant, we live nearby and get El Charro Negro at least 3 times a week. The service is very quick and very professional. The food is very flavorful and the portions are quite large. Highly recommend for families, visitors, and anyone else who is lucky enough to stop by.

New owner. New menu. We stopped in for takeout for lunch. We loved the food. Service was very friendly. Liquor license has been applied for. We took a survey in the house, and we were all really impressed with quality and flavor of our food. And the portions were good too. We will definitely be back.
So we returned again for takeout in December. The food was still good. The portions and prices are still reasonable. No pork, even though it was on the menu.
Still no beer, but the hand-written sign said they were still working on it.

Normally don’t do this, but I asked for aguachiles and ended up getting something more like cucumber salad with 5 shrimps. It took them 30min just to get them or make it. They could have said they didn’t have any and I could’ve gotten something else. The front end service was great though.

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had.
Beans were liquid, rice was weird and the chicken in my taquito was impossible to chew and tasted like pine sol. Order no guac or sour cream and it came covered in it. Was told 10 minutes to come get food and then it took almost an hour. Portions are insanely large and unable to finish any of it.

The atmosphere was pleasant and I loved the plants everywhere. Large portions. The food was just okay and I would NOT recommend the horchata.
