Delicious white sauce that can be found all over the VA, DC, and MD area. It’s actually a Mex-American sauce with origins in the DMV.. Not hard to make on your own, either. It’s just miracle whip, sour cream, milk, lime, and spices. Terrible service. They forgot to give us our white sauce when we ordered takeout last time I tried them. We called and they acknowledged that they had forgotten to put it in the bag. When we went back to get it, we were told to pay for it again. We had already paid for it. Showed our reciept and everything. Despicable. So I learned how to make it on Google. Perfect. Also, the food is pretty mediocre. The Fredericksburg establishment is better, but still has way too much frozen food. Tamales and chile rellenos etc. taste like a rotten walk-in and freezer burnt. Frozen food at every turn at both establishments. I have politely pushed a lot of my food aside and refused it. Still paid for it… Also got an upset stomach at both establishments. Eat with caution. Fajitas are best because they’re usually fresher. Haven’t been back, though, and never will. Good luck.

While I wasn’t the least bit impressed with the salsa or dip that came with the chips, I was very happy with my food. I also tried a little bit of what my husband ordered and that dish was amazing as well. The dessert was fantastic and our waitress was on top of her game. My picky kids also enjoyed themselves and actually want to go back soon!

A tasty, consistent spot for Mexican in King George. While some of the menu is more Tex-Mex, there are plenty of dishes that have authentic flavor. My wife’s tacos dorados were fresh and fantastic, and my fajitas were on point. The tamal smothered in a chipotle sauce was great. Everything is consistently fresh and, while the kitchen may be a bit slow, I can tell it’s because all food is freshly prepared to order. Look forward to returning soon!

The food is tasty and the service is friendly, even when busy. The booths need to be updated…you can either feel a spring or a 2×4 up your butt during the entirety of the meal. Be weary that the chipotle margs are not half off during marg Thursdays as they used to be; unsure if that’s new or a mistake, but I asked and the waitress said it was not part of the half off–though we have gotten it on multiple previous occasions. Wouldn’t have ordered those if we had known.

We have been half dozen times and haven’t had a bad visit. The chips and salsa are excellent. The environment is cozy. I guess sometimes they are slow to take your order when they are busy, but it’s a new local favorite of ours.
