Good Mexican food.
Usually when we are on the road up north, is rare to find good Mexican food.
We shared the s enchiladas con mole dinner plate. Very generous portion, and we were satisfied. The mole was tasty.
They did not have a few things, like ice cream and other items.
The place is huge and nicely decorated. Our server, Felipe, was nice, attentive, and professional. The cashier person on the other was not nice.

We were so glad that this restaurant was open on July 4th!! Unfortunately, there didn’t seem to be enough wait staff or kitchen help for the holiday.
Wait times on food were especially long, and our table didn’t get served all together. So while some people were served with their food, it got cold while they politely waited for the others at the table to be served.
The food itself was fabulous and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back hoping that the poor service we experienced was just a lack of help for one night.

Food was absolutely delicious!! I think it was the best Mexican food I’ve had anywhere. I ordered enchiladas mole…but was served just regular enchiladas. I told my server Felipe…who was very nice. He was visibly upset. But I told him just bring me some mole , and it’ll be all good. Mole was delicious!! My mango margarita was great..they actually put tequila in it ! I totally recommend this restaurant…also has fabulous views of Lake Superior!

I’ll start by saying we are former restaurant owners so I only give honest reviews. We stopped in for margaritas and an appetizer. We ordered small 16 oz margaritas and were given medium 27 oz. Asked for mild salsa because the salsa that came with the chips was really spicy and received what I would describe as the broth from soup. Ordered the only nacho appetizer on the menu. You can see from the picture it should have been chips, cheese, tomatoes, refried beans, guacamole. What we received was a combo of California medley, fajitas, and nachos. It had kale, carrots, red and green peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, tomatoes, beans, guacamole, and chips. Didn’t even seem fresh, like it was what someone else returned to the kitchen. Asked for second plate since we were sharing the appetizer, but I didn’t receive it until I asked a different server. The only plus was the view of the bay was good.

We were greeted promptly and seated. Fresh chips and salsa got us started. Happy hour brought nice discounts on both beer and margs. Our waitress was amazing, bouncing between managing staff, tending bar and taking great care of us. She even made a delivery during our time there.
Portions are huge. My wife could only eat half of her veggie fajitas. My burrito was amazing as well.

He had the fish tacos. I tried a bite. Delicious.
I unfortunately forgot the name of the dish I ordered. Chicken with Ranchero sause. It was great.

We got here around 11:03 and the doors were still locked. We called the restaurant to make sure they were even open and they said the doors were unlocked. I personally think the fish tacos are a bit small for being $15 but they were really good. There were a good amount of flies and gnats though even though the restaurant didn’t have anyone else in there but us.

Walked in and were sat right away. The service was great and they were quick with everything. Food came out hot and fresh. Everything was delicious!

Our waitress was good but food was bland had cold chips and salsa that tasted like marinara sauce burrito was bland and didn’t have same cheese it said it came with wouldn’t even go to this location again. The El charro I go to in Verona is amazing so I was only more let down by this location
