Stopped here on my lunch break. I had the Chilaquiles Rancheros. Ingredients were put together well and the flavor was phenomenal. Sarah was my server and she was extremely professional and attentive. The cashier was extremely nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in and seated me as well! Overall, a great experience I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Sometimes its not just about the food. While it was great this review is about the people of the businesses both in show low and Pinetop. The staff has always been incredible friendly and kind! Recently I needed help from local businesses allowing me to set up donation jars for a local church that burned down. Both el charro locations where more than willing to help. I can’t express enough what a kind hand means in this world these days. Incredible food incredible service and incredible people. Don’t hesitate just pay them a visit yourself!!!!

My husband and I ate here for the first time. It was an exceptional experience from a to z! We came at lunch time on a weekday. There’s a little outdoor seating which also features an older man sitting on a life-size horse. I found out he’s a family member in Mexico who inspired family members to do this restaurant. You’ll also find lots of indoor seating. When we walked in, we were struck by the beautiful ambience: tasteful furniture and colors plus plenty of contemporary artwork. I hope my photos convey the beauty of the place. I’ve taken thousands of restaurant photos. I believe I’ve taken more photos here today then anywhere else I’ve visited.
They have a separate room with a beautiful bar and lots of seating. I didn’t order any alcohol so I can’t comment on that aspect. There’s also a VIP room for a small group wanting some privacy. This is a good sized restaurant.
Service was prompt and super friendly thanks to Catherine, our server, and some other support staff. She was super helpful. The generous basket of chips plus salsa were delicious. We automatically got mild and hot salsa.
This restaurant features a large menu of choices. My special diet needs were accommodated beautifully. I had the beef fajitas. My husband had the daily (bargain at $9.50!) special of two beef enchiladas, plus generous rice and beans. Everything tasted fantastic! We eat a lot of Mexican food as we live in Tucson. My husband said his meal was one of the best Mexican food dishes he’s had in a long time. My fajitas were full of beautifully seasoned beef with onions and peppers, along with a heaping serving of all the accoutrements that you put on a tortilla. We walked away very satisfied and with enough left overs for another meal for two. I heartily recommend El Charro Beer in Pinetop! This new restaurant is eager to please and they earned my loyalty and respect for all their efforts.

Haven’t had a bad meal to date and the menu has good variation. Drinks are a little random and can be out depending on supply. The restaurant vibe and decor can be described as RANDOM. But its randomness works.
Only issue is the service can be inconsistent depending on server and items may not be available from time to time. The food comes through as authentic.

Walked in to order to go. Nice reception quick and easy order. Reasonable price and quick service. And the food was actually really good. I had a chicken taco plate , includes beans and rice. Overall very near 5 stars. I will probably go there twice a week.

Had dinner here last night with my brother that I haven’t seen since he moved up here. The atmosphere is very welcoming & warm. Staff is very friendly and quick to seat you. Insanely clean restaurant all around. Our server was a very attentive and quick worker which we appreciated, she was always coming by to help accommodate any requests or questions we had about the menu. Food came fairly quick and was absolutely fantastic, I had a taco salad that was loaded to the brim with fixings and all the love. Once again, great restaurant with great food, great service, great staff.

Place looks amazing and the best looking high chairs for kids I have ever seen. Food was good, service was awesome and atmosphere 5 star. Super clean and great for families. They also have a VIP room.

This place is fantastic!! I hate when new places open and people start to leave silly low star ratings. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere is on point and service was great. Katherine even went out of her way to make sure the kitchen knew about my mom’s food allergies. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!!

The food was not good at all. The only good thing was the quesadilla and even that was a hit or miss. I mean look at these wings The service was quite good though, I loved guy he was cool. The only other good thing apart from guy was how nice it looked with cool decorations.
