In reading the reviews, I was hoping for 4 or five star food and potentially authentic Mexican food. Although the food was closer to fast food it was okay, a 3 stars on the steak, rice & bean option and 2.5 stars on the chicken burrito.

Just some of the best tacos I have ever had. Im a white boy, so that may not mean much, but good lord the el pastor tacos are absolute fire. The self-service sauce bar is just the cherry on top. I really like that I don’t have to try and fumble my way with the language barrier and can just snag the different sauces and give them each a try. They are all good (and spicy) by the way.

Excellent, authetic tacos! The chicken tinga, al pastor, and carnitas were all fantastic. Small place, big flavors 🙂
Edited to add: on my second visit I tried the elote and birria. BY FAR the best I’ve ever had on both counts. I’ve eaten at many many taco places in the Twin Cities and this place is hands down the absolute best. I thought I had eaten good birria before, turns out everything I had before today was trash. Their tacos actually brought tears to my eyes it was SO DAMN DELICIOUS. They deserve an award.

Another great experience here. I tried all the meat here, except chicken, and they are all good. This time, we got torta de pastor, tacos de lengua, cabeza, and pastor. All of them were delicious. The green avocado salsa in the salsa bar hits the spot. Staff were super friendly. Their bathroom was very clean and had christmas plant to give color. I would recommend this place. Muchas gracias.

Just got some lunch here with my girls. Small little location but left a big impact. The food was delicious. We got a torta de asada with everything, un esquite, and some chilaquiles. My 2 little girls got their chocolate cake, which was also delicious. The service was great. The cashier was polite, kind of quiet, but still very professional. I must say that it’s very bold to put a small location between some big known eateries, but in life, the risk is worth the reward. Keep serving up your delicious meals. A definite MUST TRY.

Chicken tacos Mexican style are !!!! Rice and beans are delicious. Tortillas are fresh and awesome. The steak is a weird chewy texture that I don’t recommend. Fairly clean establishment, nice counter help and music. Will repeat just won’t order steak lol

Tiny place but very memorable. The food is good too. The best part is no gringos here That’s how good the food is. Most people stop and do take takeouts. Also they have a romantic booth. It looks cute.

Extremely friendly/fast service and AMAZING food! Tried the tripa, steak and chicken tacos all very tasty. The Al pastor Alambre also excellent with generous portions. Fairly priced. Worth checking out if you haven’t, and will definitely be coming back! A new go to taco spot just joined my list.
