I love El Charrito and I’ve ordered by phone, online, and eaten inside. Just one thing: if you order online or by phone, don’t forget to add or ask for your hot sauce ️ and have them repeat your order . They’re very friendly and the food is delicious. I hope to go with my family this weekend.

I’ve been passing this place for over 2 years now and have always wondered how good it was. I was recommended here by a few people so I decided to give it a shot today before driving back to the office 45 minutes out.
There was 3 people there when I arrived so it wasn’t packed, it was 6 PM. The young lady at the front took my order which is what I always get the first time I try a taco shop for the first time – two tacos of asada and two of adobada. Avocado on all of them. $2.20 a taco, that’s pretty much the norm now due to inflation. Can’t blame the taco shop for high prices. The food got to me within 10 minutes. I didn’t get track.
Got to my vehicle and unwrapped the deliciousness… wow, packed tacos! They were full of meat and the avocado slices were thiccc! First bite was an adobada taco and oh my gosh, this adobada was extremely flavorful! I loved it! The seasoning completely overtook the taco in a good way.
Now, the reason I order asada and adobada tacos as my first try at a new taco shop is for one reason; if they get one right, they almost NEVER get the other one right. This was the case here. The asada taco wasn’t bad at all, no. It was good but not the best asada I’ve had. However, the adobada tacos completely made up for the other. I will solely return for the adobada now. I am curious to try other things on the menu as well. I hope to be back soon!
Update for the 9th of February, I went again after completing my shift and my goodness, they were even better than the last time! I placed my order ahead of time on Doordash. I ordered two of asada, two of adobada, two of tripa and one of Al Pastor. The tripa was the crispiest tripa I’ve had in so long and I cannot get emough of these. I literally saved the 7th taco for last because it was so good.

Ordered and paid online, got there to get it, wasn’t ready because, “they’d been offline.” Which, whatever, stuff happens. Ordered my 3 items, with no lettuce, no onion. Sat there, waited, got home, everything was COVERED in lettuce.

Since zero stars is not an option I’m going to have give one star because the food was bland at best not authentic the lady taking my order didn’t know know what a wet burrito was that should had been a big enough red flag to cancel my order and leave my later regreting my decision I continues with my what as well been over price taco bell

Customer service is not important to this place.. The last time’s I’ve been there I left dissatisfied and with food poisoning.. I went to this place asked for a chicken tamale I was given cheese and when I addressed it the person rudely told me I was wrong, than after giving me a hard time finally gave me a sour tamale. When I asked for a refund since i felt let down twice so far in one visit,, they pointed at the no refund sign which is understandable but when they replaced the sour tamale for an order of tacos n rice, the rice was hard as it was day old left out rice n the meat had a funky taste. Never again.

We were passing through and it’s really convenient to Walmart and a huge parking lot for rvs so we tried out their taco plate, flautas, fries, chips and salsa. You order at the counter and there are hard booths and banquet tables and chairs. The lady server was helpful when ordering and brought the food out. There isn’t any service otherwise. My favorites were the bottled Coke from Mexico and the french fries. I wish the chips and salsa were better. The meat was also dry. The rice was nice and moist with good flavor. Next time we will try one of the many other Mexican places.
