El Charrito has some of the best Mexican food on the West side of Rockford! I was there when it first opened and it was great and the food is amazing still. The owner is very kind and good people. This is a family owned restaurant and I love supporting them. To show you the quality this is the steak huarache. It tasted great. I recommend this place to all my family and friends. I will be coming back!

Authentic corn tortillas for the steak tacos . The seasoning was perfect. Guaraches were melting in my mouth. Half bistek and half chicharron. Flautas nice and crispy with a side of rice and beans, and delicious salsas. Horchata to drink.
