So to set this up, I have never been here before or heard of it before. I was wanting a breakfast burrito and this place was sort of on my way to my destination. This might be the best breakfast burrito of my life! I can’t think of anything I would change. This is the Jr breakfast burrito! It comes smothered with a choice of meat. I ordered chorizo and it was excellent. Very meaty not a chorizo paste like a lot of places. $8.50 for this? Amazing!

AMAZING! Authentic Mexican food. We stayed in Wichita for a golf competition and already ate here twice. Staff is very friendly and the food is tasty, I recommend the chilaquiles, restaurant is clean with comfortable seating.

This restaurant is a great place to eat! I haven’t had menudo like this in years—the flavor really takes me back home. The menudo here tastes just like what I used to enjoy at my grandmother’s house. It has the perfect flavor and is served in generous portions, accompanied by a variety of sides you can add. I also tried their tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. I love the family vibe that only true mom-and-pop spots can offer. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I visit Wichita!

Yesterday was my first time ever at this restraint and it now has become my favorite. This is by the best Mexican restaurant in town. They do not disappoint we had the combination fajitas and they were perfectly seasoned and busting with flavor. The restaurant was very nice and chilled and the young waiter he was very kind and very attentive. I will be going back as much as possible.

Seen this Cricket sign a many times never knew it was an Mexican eatery, glad someone recommend it. Super nice staff, super clean & cozy, great music without being too loud as to hold a quite conversation. Food was great at a very reasonable price with homemade salsa to top it off. A hidded gem that if you’re in the area definitely stop by.

This food tasted not only traditional, but also extremely flavorful. It has spice, mild is not just tomato puree it has flavor and some heat. Still definitely mild. The chile verde was very spicy to me but also delicious. The salsa was seasoned well, apart from the oregano as I am not a fan . You can tell they are using quality ingredients. We ordered chips and salsa, jumbo burrito, and chimichanga. Hands down our new favorite, we cant wait to try other foods from the variety they have on their menu. Prices were fair, one meal is easily going to yield left overs, IF you can resist eating it in one sitting.lol.. The next day it was just as tasty. Thank you! Will recommend and will be back!

Very good food! I got the fajita quesadilla, but there were other meals on the same order. So much filling that I could only eat half! No problem…lunch the next day! The jumbo burrito was huge! A little spicy for my taste but it was so big it couldn’t be finished either! Definitely recommend and we will go again soon!

The best food I have had so far. Full of flavor. Great portion size. I had carne asada tacos and guac. But the spices in the salsa was really tasty too.

I typically don’t rate 5 stars; I believe there’s always room for improvement however this restaurant deserves 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ I’m from Dallas. TX where you find a Mexican restaurant on every corner. I was craving Mexican food yesterday and settled for a place I didn’t like. This morning I googled and found this one. On my drive here from downtown, I passed provably 6-7 Mexican restaurants. Most were full-at least the parking lots were. When I pulled up to El Chapulin there was one vehicle in the parking lot. Uh oh. This place isn’t busy. Not a good sign. I Decided to give it a chance because the menu showed breakfast. Which is exactly what I wanted. When I walked in, I was immediately asked to Seat myself. The waitress came over with the menu and took my drink order. My food arrived within five minutes and looked delicious. She brought me three salsa to choose from. The food was hot, great quality, and very tasty. Delicious. It’s approximately 4 miles north from downtown. I’m glad I skipped the other restaurants on my way to this one.
