The service was excellent! Staff was very attentive and anyone passing by would kindly assist. We had the Mariachi serenade us a couple of times! Even got my ‘Tragos Amargo’ request! Highly recommend. Pricing was average. We paid $125 for 5 people; very reasonable!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Hacienda, a Mexican restaurant that exceeded my expectations in every way. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Carne Asada Dinner – a generous serving of tender, juicy meat served alongside a side plate of perfectly cooked rice, beans, and pico de gallo.

Today I arrived and for my surprise they removed the lunch menu since they open the one in Boerne. I was very disappointed. The food was just ok, the chips were good but not the charro beans, they were cold. I ordered the cream jalapeño enchiladas, those and the refried beans were very good but not the rice. It was dried. I also ask for green salsa and it had no flavor.

The Mexican food here is delicious. We have been here a few times, and it never disappoints. The service is always good and great atmosphere.

Loved this place! We do not live in the area my husband and I were out on business and we were both hungry and saw this place. Inside the restaurant was clean and really nice. Our waiter was very attentive we never had to ask for a refill. The refried beans were some of the best I have ever had! My husband’s puffy taco’s were very delicious and he loved the rice! My cheese enchiladas were hot and really good! When were in the area we will be back!

I got a gift card to this place. So, my wife and I decided to go here on a Sunday afternoon. The place really looks nice. I usually like to sit in a booth, but all the booths, in this place are two tops. That’s pretty weird! Anyway, we sat at a table. The place really looks nice as you can see from the photo. And that’s about the sum of it. Our waiter, I think, was new. Anyway he didn’t seem to know much about what was going on. He couldn’t even tell me if one of the meals had rice and beans or not. I ordered chile relleno, and my wife ordered enchiladas. We got served chips and salsa. The chips were kind of hard. They weren’t really the light chips that I like. The salsa was kind of like tomato sauce run through a blender with some onions. Had very little flavor and very little seasoning. We waited for quite a while before our food came. When it did come it wasn’t really pleasant to look at. It wasn’t really bad but not pleasant. The chili relleno was soggy. The flavor was okay but not something you would expect in Texas. The rice was better, but the refried beans had very little flavor. I wouldn’t put them on my table. My wife said that her enchiladas were good. And I tasted them and they were good. Not excellent but good. So I guess if you come here get the enchiladas. The flavor on the chile relleno was okay but it didn’t have a lot of spice or anything. It wasn’t really something you would expect it South Texas. My wife says she can use the rest of the card to bring one of her friends for lunch or something. I almost certainly won’t be back.

Service has gone downhill. My to-go order took 30 mins to make and was cold and wrong! (I should add my order being incorrect was nothing new but I still wanted to give them a chance.) When I got home and called to complain after waiting close to the 30 mins, the to-go man decided to argue with me telling me a man waiting 45 mins and didn’t complain as if that was a great argument. He proceeded to tell me I didn’t wait that long and he also had tables he needed to serve. Ultimately my food was cold and wrong so unsure what the 45 min wait time of another man and his other duties had to do with my food I paid for. He yelled he would refund my payment and when I asked for his name for reference he huffed and hung up… we’ll see if I get refunded… last time I pick this restaurant!

This was my first visit to this location, and I was not disappointed. There’s a great lunch menu that includes a drink, which is always a plus. The food, service, and the atmosphere is just as good as the Helotes location.

Waiter started taking our plates before we were done. On at least three occasions the waiter came by and said “are you done “ are you done are “ you done?” We noticed that other tables were getting the same treatment. It seemed that the waiters were doing the bus boy stuff too. The restaurant was half empty so I don’t know why they were rushing us out. Obviously never coming back here again ever
