One of the best deals in Denver! The pupusas are LARGE, accompanied with fresh salsa and slaw, and very tasty. A little Spanish will help in this Little San Salvador on a pretty rough stretch of Colfax. Once you’re in the door though they have lots of products in the shop, plus a full service restaurant for all things El Salvador.

Every time I’m in Denver I stop here. I don’t even debate it, especially if I’m coming through i70. I traveled a lot and I’ve tried pupusas in so many places hoping something would hit the same and most of them just don’t. But this place does. The first bite triggers something in me instantly, like I’m a kid again in El Salvador. It’s that exact flavor I grew up with and honestly thought I might never find again out here. The masa tastes right, the filling tastes right. The salsa isn’t watered down is just right and I can’t fully explain it but it hits deeper than just “this is good food” it feels like a piece of home I get to revisit every time I’m in Denver and that’s why this place is special to me.

As authentic as it gets for Salvadoran food. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Happy I found a place with all my Salvadoran favorites. The caldo de pollo and típico breakfast were on point. Not a fancy place or neighborhood but worth the adventure for the food.

I have driven by this place so many times and kept meaning to stop. My daughter and I didn’t have anything going on so we did. It was amazing. I had the El Salvadorian breakfast with eggs, rice and beans, plantains cheese, and a sour cream that all work together to be. Probably the best thing I’ve eaten this month.
It was quite busy with the after church and mid-morning Sunday crowd. Still got a table fairly quickly. I was sad as I saw cebada was on the menu but sadly not present. Only put a momentary damper on the incredible tasty, Superior service, amazing Sunday morning breakfast brunch experience. Do yourself a favor. Don’t wait 10 years like I did.

New fav gem! Home cooking that is so tasty and affordable!! So many vegan options! Got horchata with no milk, bean burrito, corn tamale, side of plantains and beans & rice. Portions were HUGE and prices were small. I assumed everything would be smaller bcs of how cheap it was. Server was super sweet and answered all our questions and all the food was out in less than 15 min. Friends got other options and all had leftovers. Beans are so flavorful, plantains cooked to perfection and the corn tamale was simple but tasted so good. Will be back.

Came here on a recommendation. I was pleased with the outcome. The waitress was friendly and took her time helping me with the menu items since I’ve never tried El Salvadorian food before. Tried a combo plate because it came with the pupusas that I was told I needed to try. It also came with a tamale and something else I forgot the name of. Overall great experience and highly recommend trying if you’re looking for something different.

Food and prices are reasonable and the food is good.
The waiting time is horrendous and the phone line is always busy or they don’t pick up which makes you go there and your wait time is 30+ minutes.

My 1st time and i absolutely loved it. The food was so good and exceptionally cheap Not Affordable… cheap…. Super BANG!! For your Buck. I will forever be a regular. Customer service was excellent, Bilingual with impeccable perfect English as well. She deserves a raise/ bonus. No matter how busy it got, she never lost her cool, happy Demeanor. Moved extremely fast to get orders out. Whoever the cook was on this day deserves a raise/ bonus as well. The food was sooooo delicious, i didn’t mind spilling some on my clothes. I hated i got my meal too go cause i shared with my Best Friend and we were fighting over the last bite and green chili from the smothered burrito. Please DON’T change the recipe
Excellentè!!

Its a good place to try South American food, and it was delicious, good service, well lit and good atmosphere, the only down part is the location and at least it has parking in the back. Its a 5 star don’t get me wrong but we all know East Colfax.
