Cleanliness, quality ingredients and friendly service from Eduardo. What’s not to love? The grilled chicken tacos really pop.

Great food and friendly service. I ordered steak for my burrito (options were chicken or steak) and I received chicken, I am so not one to say anything and im sure it was a simple mix up. The fried ice cream was really good too!

This place is the quintessential Mexican place in some random otherwise dead town. 10/10 or 5/5 whatever Google wants here.

Table Salsa=Flawless & Spicy
Margaritas=Fast
Cervesas=ICE COLD HERMANO

This place doesn’t miss, Margarita towers and 46OZ Margarita’s are available here but not for the faint of
corazón!!!

Went here with family for lunch. I ordered the El Pastor tacos with flour tortillas. They were very flavorful and tasty. There were 3 on my order and it was plenty of food as well as the other meals were that came out to family. We did have some cheese dip, chips and salsa and they were good as well. Staff was friendly and restaurant atmosphere was typical for Mexican. I did think the prices were a little higher than other Mexican places I’ve been but we all know the price of food continues to go up. If in the area, it was good enough that I would eat here again if in the mood for Mexican.

This restaurant has been at i65 at the Prattville exit for several years. I would drive to Prattville to eat here from Montgomery when I lived here. Margaritas are wonderful and have had many different items from menu and have enjoyed them all.
Easy access from I65 right off interstate! Definitely recommend
Enjoy

This place had the best Mexican cuisine that I’ve had in a long time. I got the steak, shrimp and chicken tacos…. it was absolutely delicious. The service was top tier. I will definitely be visiting again.

While traveling we stopped in to dine. Motel we were staying at suggested if we like good Mexican it was the best in the area. Turned out they were right, food was prepared perfectly. What made the meal was the flavors and taste it was not the least bit bland. If ever staying in the area again we would make a point to stop. The establishment was busy and filling up. If you like good Mexican this is a great place to stop at.
Update, 4500+ views, stop in if you haven’t already and enjoy a great meal! People actually check out reviews.

My husband and I travel for work all over the United States but originated in California. We like to try different restaurants wherever we go but nothing really compares to California Mexican Food. This place here though ! Let me tell you! They are so close !

The atmosphere was adorable. It felt cozy and inviting. My only issue was the table felt a bit sticky. Not sure what they use to clean them. I am guessing Pine Sol of some sort as I did get the smell a bit upon entry. It was not overpowering at all by any means, just a hint of the good Ole Pine Sol smell.

The food was comparable to California Mexican Food. Flavorful, cooked perfectly, and you get ample sized servings . We will definitely be back for more. The Carne is mmm mmm mm chefs kiss . Oh and none of that nasty melted fake cheese ( velveeta ) on anything we ordered. What is that exactly anyways haha? Why do these places around here even add that? That isn’t Mexican food …. maybe for Chipolte but come on now!

We came through town on vacation and stopped here and had the best margaritas and Street tacos. Raul was super nice and attentive. We like this so much we came back on the way home to Florida and stopped and got some to go. The carnitas street tacos are made with yummy large chunks of pork. Probably our favorite but they were all good.

Giving this restaurant a 4. Food was edible but wasn’t great at all to me.
My husband brought home food during lunch time & I’m sorry but I don’t get the hype… my jaw dropped when I seen the reviews & found out the price of our meals total. Unseasoned is one word I would use. He bought me the steak quesadilla & the steak strips inside of the tortilla were dry. The rice tastes like oily white rice, nothing like the other mexican restaurants, where the rice has flavor of tomatoes & onions. This rice is almost like fried rice. My husband’s meal was beef enchilada & the meat was unseasoned & the tortilla fell apart. Couldn’t even take a bite before it fell off of the utensil. Almost $30 for our meals at LUNCH TIME. & let’s not forget the soupy salsa.. basically watered down so the flavor lacked there as well.
