We came here for our anniversary lunch and had the best experience! Our waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive, and she even shared a little history about the restaurant which made it feel extra special. The food was absolutely delicious especially for a seafood spot and the prices were surprisingly great. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Mexican seafood and wonderful service!

I am so delighted to have this newer Mexican eatery near me in Lemon Grove! I’ve been their twice, and going back today. Most restaurants don’t impress me. This eatery impresses me on the 3 major fronts: Food quality/quantity, service and ambiance. The first visit I had the 2 fish tacos which were excellent, and abundant. Lots of fresh tortilla chips and their salsa is awesome. 2nd visit I got their lunch special ceviche on Mondays. Likely the best ceviche I’ve ever had! A really big bowl, came with avocado, cucumbers, crackers, and more! I had leftovers. You cannot beat their price for ceviche, very fair–VALUE. My waitress both times was Ceci, and she is excellent, attentive, and friendly. They have a nice bar, and the atmosphere there is great, they put money into this place! I enjoyed a pint of Pacifico beer too, and their prices for adult beverages are very fair in today’s inflationary times.

The food was really good and I had a good time with my family, and the service was good too. Would could again. I feel like the only thing that was “bad” was the issue with the reservation as they said it was never placed, but overall worked out because we got sat anyway. Also love how many choices they have for sushi.

My new favorite Mariscos in San Diego! Came here with my buddies, and wanted to share the food. It’s a big space, and we got a table enough for us. I noticed they had a full bar with TVs which was a plus because we wanted to watch the games. I got their version of their cocktail, the Campechana el cata. So good ! Came with 2 kinds of shrimps, octopus, and scallops. I also got the el cata taco, which came with octopus, shrimp, and steak ! My buddy got the mango augachile and he said it’s one of the best he has had. We also shared sushi rolls. We got the el cata roll & chef’s special roll. Very good and fresh rolls. My other buddy got the Octups plate which came with a whole octopus ! He loved it ! The restaurant was clean and the service was great which is always a plus ! Definitely coming back here !

The food and drinks were perfect. There was a lot of space to eat comfortably. My husband ordered a Michelada to drink and for food he ordered the campenchada cocktail. He was impressed. I ordered the chicken fajitas to eat and they were perfect. The lemon Margarita I finished was very satisfying. My kiddo ate the chicken nuggets and fries and thought they were delicious. My teenager had the Sushi and couldn’t keep her chopsticks down.

I read some of the negative reviews for this place, but I wanted to try it for myself. Honestly, I thought the service was wonderful! Our server was very attentive and really cared about our experience. She engaged with us frequently and even wanted to know our opinion on aspects of the menu and the business. The tacos were delicious and fresh, which is really important when you’re talking about seafood. There was a vibrancy to the environment and the live music made it feel like we were in TJ for the night. I really liked it. I will be going back!

My husband and I wanted to get out of the house but stay close and this was so convenient since we live in LG

We were so excited to see a mariscos place near us.

We arrived about 730pm
Ordered shrimp ceviche 2 micheladas and chefs sushi roll and a taco governador.

We enjoyed our food and the servings were good portions.

They had a dj playing great music.

Overall we had a good time and we’ll be back

Definitely surprised to see so many one star reviews. If you’re looking for succulent, juicy tacos on a taco Tuesday, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. All the staff was friendly and nice. But if I’m grading, I’m grading. It’s hard to maintain perfection in a dine in setting.
Juicy fish and shrimp tacos. Chowed down 4 big tacos with the delicious salsa that comes w the chips.
If I was paying. I would have definitely grabbed 6. Next time. Sigh….. next time.
