Consistently great food and our new favorite haunt for Mexican food. Molcajete and horchata in particular boast authentic flavor: highly recommend giving these a try. Their rice is also unique and always a hit. The key feature of this restaurant, for me, is the consistently incredible quality of meal, accuracy of order, and friendliness/efficiency of service.
Eva was our waitress and offered some of the best service we’ve received in a long time while dining out! Really can’t say enough positive things. Please give them a try and work your way through their menu for preparations that put any local competition to shame 🙂

It has been a few months since we have been into prosperity South Carolina to eat we knew this Mexican restaurant was gonna open up so we finally gave it a try my favorite Mexican dish is chorizo pollo. El Carlos Mexican restaurant has one of the best chorizo Paulo I have had. This is refreshing to know that I can drive into prosperity and have my favorite Mexican dish. The restaurant is not super fancy, but who really cares. The young gentleman that waited on my table was very nice and carried on great conversations with all of the customers. Overall experience was good we will be back.

I ordered a take out of the triple quesdillia and children’s chicken strips. The quesdillia was DELICIOUS!!! Everything came out fast, delicious and the service was friendly. Very grateful for a small mexican restaurant in prosperity. I’m very thankful I was able to eat and not have to pay what seems like an arm and a leg from most places. I will be going back!

This place is a nice new mexican restaurant so we had to try it. It has a nice local and family feel. Very clean and bright interior. The service was great very attentive and every server was helpful and kind. The food was great as well with wonderful selection. The mocajete is delicious and my fiancé loved her ACS. Highly recommend to give this local place a visit I know we will be back.

They’ve just opened recently and the food is incredible. I believe it’s all run and worked by a family and they treat you like family when you’re there. The food was absolutely amazing, and plentiful. Pictures are of Paradilla (fajita skillet photo) and el Sabrosos (plated). Torta Cubana is next on my list.

We have ordered takeout from this place multiple times and it has been consistently good every time! They have fast, pleasant, and accurate service. Their menu has a lot of options that you don’t usually find in most local Mexican restaurants. We’ll be back!

Everything my wife and I tried was fantastic! Started with choriqueso, which was just the right amount of chorizo. Carne asada was tender and flavorful. Every part of paradillas was wonderful and seasoned perfectly. Service was friendly and prices were very reasonable for higher quality food than most Mexican restaurants in the area. Looking forward to our next visit.
