Fantastic food. The tacos were some of the best we have ever had at a strip mall Mexican restaurant. Do not sleep on the black beans either. Some of the best I’ve ever had.

Overall a good experience! There were plenty of servers and support staff which was awesome. Our meal came out in a timely manner, everything cooked well. The taco salad was a lot different than I’m used to it but was still delicious.

There’s nothing fancy or showy- just good food, at a reasonable price, with large portions.
From the salsa and chips, queso, very large burritos, to the fajitas that are enough to feed two people.
I’ve ordered a side of grilled shrimp and a small queso and had enough food for two meals.
The staff is friendly and don’t be surprised if you see the owner walking around talking to patrons.

This is a great find. We used to go to the El. Caporal on meadow drive, and it is now closed, making us very sad people. But this place has pretty much the same recipes and tastes just about as good. So it’s nice to find a place to replace my Mexican restaurant of the last 20 years.

I ordered the red snapper…fish was old, hard, way overcooked…. I ordered it to go on my lunch break and by the time i got back to work from the restaurant (2 minute drive tops) and took one bite…i had to throw it away…the chorizo taco I had was good tho.
