Absolutely delicious and pleasant surprise! Came here based on the pictures and was stunned with the flavor. The tostada with the mango relish was refreshing and slightly sweet, so good. I also had the seafood Molcajete with the Tamarind sauce and it was delicious! It was a slow Tuesday and our server did a great job paying attention and answering our questions. The only drawback was that the seafood was not as fresh as I’d like, but other than that it was a great experience. I will definitely come back.

It was very popular with locals. It was a full house including a birthday party. It is small open concept seating area. Later in the evening, a sax player performed. The waiter was friendly. The food was delicious, but very spicy. The guacamole was delicious with fresh tomatoes.

It was a random choice, we like to eat different places and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was a VIBE with the live band playing!! The food was absolutely amazing!! The service was pretty slow but they were busy and the vibes and deliciousness definitely made up for that!!!! If you like seafood GO there. We got the pasta and the grilled pineapple. SO YUMMY!! It was like $35 a person. We will be back!!

Probably the best & most authentic Mexican restaurant in Wichita with a great ambience & clean restaurant. Service was exceptional. This is my 2nd time. And I had great experiences both times. The seafood was excellent. Try things you haven’t tried – i believe you wont.be disappointed.

This is a good seafood restaurant. The is very clean and I loved the decorations. Very nice atmosphere and I loved all the natural light. So many restaurants are so dark you can hardly see. Our meal was tasty and everything was enjoyable. There are so many unique dishes I haven’t seen anywhere else. The reason for the 4 stars was our waitress that day didn’t speak English. We were trying to find out how spicy different dishes were and what ingredients were in certain dishes for allergies.

Some of the best seafood in Kansas. We had the oysters, mixed fajitas, mixed pineapple and grilled red snapper. All were amazing. Price was average, a bargain for good seafood. Portions were huge.

We really enjoyed El Capitan! It is a Guadalajara-based Mexican seafood restaurant. The salsa isn’t the traditional tomatoes paste sauce like everywhere else. The food was excellent (reminder: it’s not your typical “Mexican” restaurant. It’s a coastal based Mexican.) with its uniqueness! Our service was perfect. Yes, the menu has a lot of Spanish words on it, but our server was very helpful. We had the fish tacos and fajitas. The atmosphere and decor was delightful. We will most definitely visit again.

Heard about this place from my girlfriends boss o we decided to go here for our birthday the 11th an 12th we were not dissatisfied 1 bit.. The chips an salsa were great plus got a amazing seafood appetizer an 2 very different dishes both were out this world. My pineapple shrimp dish came out with with my mouth open! My girl didn’t even get the chance or refused to share hahaha. We will go here again, the price was very easy on the eyes with what we ordered.

Stopped by for lunch. We both had the chilaquiles with steak. It was delicious. Great portion size! Everything on the plate was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back for dinner sometime since they have so much seafood!
