I would have given 2 stars if it was not for the Tamale and enchiladas combo. We went there for Mother’s Day and ordered sizzling fajitas combinations $29.99, which is supposed to be sizzling. It wasn’t sizzling and when I asked the waiter, he said food was hot, but it wasn’t. It was watery and became cold in few minutes. When they asked us how was the food, I told them it was cold, nothing was done. I would not go again. Also, they were not offering happy hours on Sunday due to Mother’s Day.

I had my mothers celebration of life here and the coordinator Emma was so kind and understanding. Everyone loved the food and thought it was a great experience. The waiters were fast and kind. I had an amazing experience here and I would highly recommend this place for dinner and for throwing event such as memorial services or birthday parties. I had an amazing experience and so did all the guess they came. They said the outside area was beautiful.

Great food. They were running behind which happens on busy nights, staff gave me a table to sit at and a drink while I waited for food on the pickup order, also offered chips/salsa while I waited as well(was supposed to be ready before i arrived but had to wait about 45 minutes). Food is always great. Family deal is delicious and perfect for a family of 3 with leftovers.

Some lady friends and I came for dinner last week and I was disappointed. Most of the menu items are very highly priced like $18 for a single tamale and rice and beans and many items around $25. For these prices you’d expect delicious high quality food. It was mediocre. We get better food at Mission Burrito, Taqueria El Maizal, or El Pollo Corona for a fraction of the price. They are of course more casual but even this place that is supposed to be more fancy isn’t that nice looking. The waiter was very nice I’ll give it that. The semi enclosed patio was hardly decorated at all. The lighting was bright white, felt a bit like we were eating in a Costco. The ladies liked their alcoholic drinks and they were pretty to look at. My cheese enchilada was okay and the rice and beans were okay. For that flavor level I could’ve made that at home for $3 instead of $17 after tax and tip (and I only had water to drink) I’d say don’t waste your time.

Take this review as slightly under a 5 star. This place is very very solid. A modern Mexican menu that has a lot to offer, and of my 7 times having been, not once have I been disappointed. The pricepoint is the main killer for me, but still worth it overall. Definitely worth checking out.
