The food was good but make sure you ask for the receipt BEFORE YOU PAY. I have no problem with tipping but you have a sign that says, “tips are NOT REQUIRED but we appreciate it” yet charge a 10% tip WITHOUT TELLING YOU!!! On top of that they charge a card fee from your total BEFORE the state tax fee then add the FORCED TIP from the new “total”. Crazy how our total went from $65.94 to $82.23 for only 2 people. Funniest part is that they have a “tip suggestion” on the card machine receipt!

The service was fast a little bit to fast. They messed up the order. The burrito was soggy not much of ingredients in it. The other order was plain with no taste where it’s located is where it belongs. It was so horrible didn’t want to upset anyone.

I’D kept driving by telling myself I’m going to try it out. They did not disappoint. Very nice business they have put together here. Lots of parking. Inside is extremely clean kid friendly. Food on point. Yes you can be a gringo and still go in. And be taken care of. Nice front cashier. Great smile as well I must say. Highly recommend. Plus Michigan st is now two way street so its not hard to get too. I use to go down the place off New York and state. But to me they gotten too greedy with how they run it. Food is flat. But. This spot is killing it. #MyNewTacoJoint.. see me their or beat me their..

It was fair. The service was good and the food was good although I didn’t get the taste of the burrito I was expecting possibly because it didn’t have beans or other ingredients I was expecting but lots of meat which was a tad bit salty. Other than that I tried their chicken quesadilla and steak burrito which was good. Also the red sauce is not a spicy as I’m used to but still good

Great local Mexican restaurant with good food and service. I love this addition to the Near Eastside. I eaten here lots for a quick lunch with my wife and even for work meetings, but today we went with 5 families after church… 18 people with kids! The servers had no problem taking care of our group and serving up great food! Recently upgraded the tables and chairs and the menus.

“Beer Breakfast” may be a thing, but their lunch and dinner is fantastic. This is an undiscovered little family place on the Eastside that’s rarely crowded, but the food is great, the veggies fresh, and the service attentive. The only downside is the construction to revert Michigan St to two-way traffic. An El Dorado of Mexican restaurants

Incredible spot! No fuss or flare. Just great, reasonably priced, authentic food. They always fill the tacos (I get the Al pastor) so you get plenty for your money. The space is beautiful, clean, and well taken care of as well.

Since they opened, they’ve quickly become the only spot I go to for Mexican cuisine on the east side. So so good.

I’ve visited this location many many times and every time is a different wonderful experience! The shrimp tacos are out of this world delicious! They typically have a few different flavors of “rice water” ….all that I’ve tried have been awesome! Unlike other restaurants nearby, their pineapple rice water is actually pineapple and not melon water…..this place is a hidden gem in the rough so definitely give it a try if you’re in area!
