Stopped by bc the door was open and the food smelled great! Lucky us it was a Sunday Brunch special WITH a dessert bar (fresh made from next door) and a diy bloody mary bar (filled with the fixin’s)! Great waitress, Amber gave us the walkthrough and was the absolute sweetest! (shoutout to your mom ❤️) 10/10-Glad we stopped, will be back, great Sunday Funday!

if you like chill vibes, good drinks, and solid Tex-Mex, El Camino is one of those places you actually enjoy sitting and hanging out in—not rushing through a meal.
The moment you walk in, it already feels fun. Warm lighting, relaxed energy, and that kind of place where you can talk, laugh, and take your time. It’s great for a casual dinner, catching up with friends, or even a low-key date night.
Now let me get straight to the food—especially the vegetarian options, because they don’t feel like an afterthought here.
Veg Quesadillas
The veg quesadillas are comforting in the best way. Nicely grilled, cheesy without being too heavy, and packed with veggies that actually have flavor—not bland filler. They’re the kind of dish you keep pulling apart while talking because they’re just… easy and satisfying.
Veg Enchiladas
The vegetarian enchiladas were honestly a pleasant surprise. Warm, saucy, and filling—but not overwhelming. The flavors feel balanced, and you don’t miss the meat at all. It’s proper Tex-Mex comfort food that works beautifully for vegetarians.
Guacamole
And the guacamole? Fresh, chunky, and done right. Not watery, not over-mashed. Just clean, simple flavors that pair perfectly with their crispy chips. It’s the kind of guac you keep eating even after you say, “Okay, last bite.”
Drinks & Overall Vibe
Their margaritas are solid—refreshing, not too sweet—and honestly, they match the mood of the place perfectly. El Camino feels social. It’s not fancy-fancy, but it’s polished enough to feel special.
Final Thoughts
El Camino is one of those spots where:
• You feel comfortable lingering
• Vegetarian food actually feels thoughtful
• The vibe matters just as much as the plate
If you’re in Corpus Christi and want a fun Tex-Mex evening with good veg options, El Camino is absolutely worth stopping.

The horchata was so good. I think his name was James, our server. Very attentive and very knowledgeable. My food was delicious. I normally don’t get rice and beans but I seen other people’s plate and chose to get them as well. Don’t even get me started on the dessert. The tres leches cake was fire. It could of been a little more wet for me but some people cant do wet cake. For me the wetter the better. Great location, close to the water.

This place has a beautiful vintage, TexMex vibe. The menu was refreshingly unique and delicious. I love when restaurants bring a nice cold jug of water with no ice to the table. It’s such a nice touch especially for big water drinkers. They also brought fantastic tortilla chips with 3 different types of dipping sauce. Service was excellent. We got the eggs Benedict and it was very flavorful but the chorizo was so tough to cut it kind of messed up the whole dish in the process.

the server was super sweet and the atmosphere was amazing. the food was mid though, not really any true flavor. the chips had a TON of seasoning which was spicy and made it hard to eat. the food overall tasted like any other place but super expensive.

February 14, 2026 We had our Valentine’s dinner and were served by Amber. She truly made our experience even more special. Our food came out quickly, and she recommended a drink that was absolutely amazing. Her service was attentive, friendly, and made the night that much better. We ordered the fajita beef steaks ( sooo yummy) and La Fresa drink

They start you off with chips and 3 types of salsa/dips, and they’re bottomless! The food was great. Definitely ask for their daily specials. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Absolutely, do NOT skip the dessert menu.

Absolutely loved this place. Definitely a place I will go back too. We passed by and smelled the food from outside and went in. Fajitas and their garlic sauce were amazing.

Truly a great dinner out with wonderful company. Other than the amazing and delicious food we all got, the salsa that I personally thought was “to die for” good, what made our night the best was our server Amber. She did a great job all around.
I fully recommend and suggest to try this place.

Everything we had was really flavorful and the drinks were good and strong! The chips had a nice lime seasoning to them and came with 3 dips and we ordered some queso as well that was really good.
