Great service, but I I thought my carne asada meal would’ve been a lot juicier and nicely seasoned. Definitely wasn’t. Rice, beans was amazing

Took my family here for a Friday evening dinner. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. Loved their chips and salsa especially! 3 out of 4 of us had to get to go boxes. Our waitress was great! Definitely 5 stars for the service, food, and clean restaurant .

WOW!!! Amazing … Everything was Amazing. From walking into the front door to being seated and being served chips and salsa. We had been studying the online menu all week and had decided on the Cactus Sampler, but to our dismay they had taken it off the menu. Our gentlemen taking care of us went and saw that we were able to receive one. The food was so good, we ordered the sampler, Pollo Cactus, and another dish I can’t remember now though. The best part of the visit today was when I was getting up from sitting and looked back into the kitchen and saw everyone dancing to the music. It was so lovely to see when we can enjoy what we do in life. So thank you for a wonderful lunch today !!!

Are there yesterday and worse food I’ve had. Ordered chicken fajitas and there was no seasoning. Granddaughter ordered spinach casadilla and has waitress call it back to her to make sure it didn’t have mushrooms (allergies) and it was only mushroom had waitress take it back and because they had a large party come in everyone else was finished and we ask about hers again. “As soon as we get the parties food made we’ll get to yours” Either they didn’t tell the manager or her refused to speak to me. Will never go back Paid for entire meal with no offer to fix any problems.

We ate at El Cactus on a Friday evening while visiting in the area. The restaurant was packed although we were seated within minutes. Our food was very good and promptly served. Our server had an excellent personality and was very helpful in our selections. The prices were comparable to other restaurants we had visited.

Just no. Our food was lacking flavor. The service was not great. The hostess left us at the door while seating us.

**Update – There is apparently a new cook at the restaurant, and by all accounts, this has NOT been a successful change. Hopefully they will return to their previous high quality soon.**

This is our go-to local Mexican restaurant. The menu is geared more towards Tex-Mex than traditional Mexican food, however there are a few traditional meals offered. The reason we love it above others is that it offers plenty of vegetarian options. The chips are delicious and crispy and never burned. The salsa is heartier than some and almost has a marinara flavor, but it’s good..i personally wish it was heavier on the cilantro, but if that’s not your thing, you’ll like it even more. The waiters are all friendly and fast and efficient (shout out to our favorite, Juan Manuel!) and the restaurant is clean. We have never had any of the alcoholic drinks, but they are available and look delicious. We have sampled a lot from the menu, but our favorite dishes are the Chimichangas (both the chicken and the veggie), the Spinach Enchiladas, Chile Poblanos, the Traditional Bowl, and the Quesadilla Rellena. The Taco Salad is also noteworthy and made differently than any other local restaurant – it looks like a giant taco. They have several TV’s and are usually playing sports on them, so you won’t miss the game. Parking is easy and is wheelchair accessible. Recommend!

**Update – finally tried a cocktail. Had the Bay Breeze and it was delicious.
