Service was top notch. Multiple table touches through out my time here. As I finished a plate it was noticed and taken away. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the large basket of chips they give you and good sized glass decanter of salsa.
Menu was compact yet full of options and colourful pictures of multiple plates available to order.
The interior furnishings and wall decor was a lot of custom pieces. From the beautiful booths to the artwork on the walls etc..
Food was good overall quality and sufficient quantity. I paid a la carte to have a couple of grilled jalapenos added to my fajita plate.
Bathroom was in good condition and clean.

Update to previous post. Food and service still great. We had a large group 16 people fast great service and food. I mean we all ordered drinks less than 5 min they came out. Time to order food and it started coming out within 10 min. We were not the only large group either and it was taco Tuesday so business was busy just for that. Make sure to look at the food and drink pics. My new favorite is the family burrito it is enough to feed 3 people.

Flip Out
We stopped in for lunch and started with the bean dip and it was delicious. Little Flip Out was excited to try the taco salad and it was greatly enjoyed. Littlest Flip Out had a kids burger and enjoyed it also. Mrs. Flip Out tried the carne asada and it had great flavor. The roasted jalapeño was a perfect compliment to the steak. I had the chimichanga platter, one with fajita chicken and fajita beef. I also asked for the chimichangas to be smothered in poblano cream sauce, which really complimented the fillings. Service was excellent and prompt. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Great place for Mexican food if you’re in Joplin!

This was the worst customer experience I have ever had! I had to tell the waitress 5 times what I ordered then they still brought wrong food out! Someone who was with me got his food delivered started eating it and then waitresses came and grabbed his plate away really! Then took forever to bring my plate out and it was still wrong! Also they put there finger inside my cup that’s gross told the manager and he didn’t do anything I will never come back here again I advise everyone to go to neosho one not joplin l! If I was able to rate it a zero I would! It was not worth $73.87

My kids live in Joplin and El Caballo de
Oro is one of their favorites. They invited me and I fell in love with this place. The food is great. Tasty and spicy with just enough heat to get a kick but not to burn your mouth. Margatita was good to! We got strawberry and mango. The cherry on the top was the service. Welcoming, friendly, professional. Our server was fantastic but I could see the rest of the staff was constantly alert and aware about guests’ needs. Five star is not enough. How about 10?

Toothless approved! The chicken chimichanga was well above average! The street tacos were superb! The Lengua was amazing (and a first for me). The Asada was better than average and I enjoyed the Asada / chorizo combo. I will definitely keep this on my list of places to stop when traveling. My only nit pick is the place is LOUD when busy – but the food is worth it.
