Very happy with our visit! We had steak and chicken tacos and burritos. Delicious! The salsa and pico tasted great and had the perfect spice. The tortillas are soft and fresh too.

It’s been a few years since I last visited El Burron in Douglas, AZ. I had their well- known burrito de carne asada and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint! It was a bit pricey per burrito, but the flavor of their salsa with the burrito is priceless!

We stopped here for dinner. Staff was wonderful. We ordered a Pork Burron and fries it was delicious when our food came he threw in two carne asada tacos to try since we debated having them. When we went up to get a to go box he through in some Mexican jerky for free. We will definitely come back here.

Awesome! When I could not understand the Mexico menu, the owner Javier offered up a fabulous recommendation of their Burron Burrito! He ever gave us a Horchata! So great. When traveling through Douglas AZ, do not pass up this experience of Mexico! Javier told us that people come in just to order his salsa! We took a large cup of his pico! We will be back!

Last week I ordered a grilled chicken salad. I am beyond disappointed that they have changed the salad by cutting the chicken into small pieces. It’s advertised as “grilled chicken” but it’s not fully grilled. The chicken was bland, no flavor, and rubbery. The salad is covered with dry prepackaged cheese. You need to search for the chicken bits underneath all the cheese. The salad is $12.50. It is not worth it at all. I used to buy the “original grilled chicken” salad and paid $12.50 because it was good and the chicken was thoroughly grilled. The portion size of the chicken was enough for one person. However, the amount of cucumbers and tomatoes were downsized from good to few very thin slices. The only good from the “new” salad is the romaine lettuce. Also, that has been downsized plenty. El Burron’s current salad is like any salad you can purchase from Walmart or Circle K and it doesn’t cost $12.50. Save your money and don’t buy El Burron’s new version of their chicken salad. The chicken was gross and I threw the entire salad away. Why change a menu item that was so good in the first place? That’s what made El Burron’s original grilled chicken salad unique, it’s flavor and the melted cheese on top of the chicken and it was totally grilled. It had flavor! The chicken was cut fillet style and sliced vertically. I highly don’t recommend the new version of their grilled chicken salad. Save your money or buy a Ceasars salad from ________, just around the corner from El Burron.
I gave my review a one star because the romaine lettuce was good.

This is an excellent restaurant. Great food at reasonable prices. I consider it to be one of the best restaurants in the world. It is usually filled with people because it is so good. Great service and great food. The menu is all in Spanish. You should still eat at El Burron even if you can’t read Spanish, because the food is the best. They have ee
