This place came highly recommended and I really wanted to like it. I ordered vegetarian tacos online and was told to arrive 10 minutes later, which I did. I waited an additional 30 minutes, after the scheduled pick up time. When I got home, I found tacos with nothing but cabbage, cheese, and salsa in them—no grilled onions, avocado, or potato.
What I did get tasted good. But it was absolutely not worth the price and very much not what I ordered.

This one was rough. My partner and I decided we wanted to try some Oaxacan food at a new cart that we’ve never been to. She gets back and immediately told me about the weird vibes with “a man wriggling on the ground with a women 10 feet away half dancing in a daze possibly related to the man right next to the cart”. Wriggling aside.. I cannot stress how absolutely BLAND this food was. I’m attaching a photo because other than two bites this is literally how it looked when I opened the box. The flavors included.. corn and cabbage. The chicken was flavorless and not seasoned. We tried to save the day with some green sauce because you know.. sometimes you gotta. AND OMG the sauce was BLAND TOO it tasted like vinegar and cilantro alone. (We are not suffering from any diseases that make your taste weird either and I LOVE cilantro). I have no idea if we just got a bad batch or something but if this is the normal product please stay away. Literally make your own toasted corn tortilla with just refried beans and that would be more flavorful.

El Buen Sabor in Eugene, OR is a hidden gem that is not to be missed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with beautiful Mexican art lining the walls.
But let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely delicious! The menu had a great variety of traditional Mexican dishes but with a modern twist. The highlight for me was the Chicken Mole Enchiladas which was so flavorful and had just the right amount of spice.
The portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. Every dish looked like a work of art on the plate, and it was evident that a lot of thought and care went into the preparation of each meal. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of food made it worth every penny.
El Buen Sabor also had a great selection of drinks, including authentic margaritas that were the perfect complement to the meal. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at El Buen Sabor and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding, and I can’t wait to return!

I ordered the breakfast tacos and they were incredible! The handmade corn tortillas were perfect, everything tasted fresh, and the red salsa was a must. You can tell they care about quality and flavor. I can’t wait to come back for more!

My past experiences at this place have been very good so it pains me to make this review. But I went there a few days ago with my friend, paid $30 for a burrito and nachos and we both got food poisoning and I threw up tons. I guess one of the workers did not wash their hands after they came back from the bathroom. But be careful guys. Clearly some workers here here aren’t the carefulst. Also my friend said his nachos were lowk cold. Even though the Burritos are good I want a refund for getting sick!!!

Loved this local casual Mexican restaurant. The burrito is a handful! I tried something new and had the Asada Blanda. Very tasty, loved the beef. You get the choice of red or green hot sauce on the side. There’s outdoor seating (no indoor) but its covered, the service was super friendly! This place is definitely a local favorite! Cant wait to come back and try something new.

We had the best lunch today at El Buen Sabor. The Chorizo Taco had a Handmade Corn Tortilla, Shredded Cabbage, Cilantro, Grilled Onions, Guacamole, and Salsa. The spectacular Wet Burrito was huge and it was a Flour Tortilla, Rice, Cilantro, Adobado, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Lettuce, Tortilla Chips, and Green Salsa. The Gorditas were crisp, delectable Fried Corn Masa filled with Carnitas, Shredded Cabbage, Cilantro, Onions, Guacamole, and Salsa. This is Authentic Oaxacan Cuisine and the Meats, Vegetables, Salsa, and Tortillas are prepared fresh daily here. The flavors were mouth-watering perfection.

HUGE menu, lots of options including vegetarian and vegan. We ordered to go and the food was not only on time but still hot and fresh. The Cilantro, perfectly cooked rice and the quality/variety of salsas alone will have us coming back!!! Best burritos in town!

After reading a favorable review in the paper and being street taco fans we had to try the 2.00 dollar tacos. We had the beef, chicken and chorizo tacos. We enjoyed our delicious tacos, with a very nice portion of protein and a bit of fresh cilantro, cabbage and avocado based sauce on top. This food cart offers real food, covered seating and good eats.
