I stopped by El Buen Gusto and everything I ordered absolutely hit the spot. I got the queso birria tacos, and they were incredible, perfectly seasoned, tender, and paired with a consomé that was rich, flavorful, and balanced without being overly spiced. You can tell they take pride in getting the seasoning just right.
I also tried the chicken quesadilla, and the chicken was seasoned beautifully. The flavor was savory, not spicy, with just the right amount of salt. Simple, delicious, and done really well.
To top it off, I ordered a Jamaica (hibiscus) drink, and it was very refreshing. Not too sweet, with a clean, refreshing hibiscus flavor that complemented the meal perfectly.
At El Buen Gusto, everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. I’ll definitely be back.

El Buen Gusto is hands-down one of the best food trucks in the area. The food is so delicious — I ordered the quesabirria tacos and they were incredible: packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and you can genuinely taste the care and quality in every bite.
What really makes this place stand out though is the people. The customer service is amazing, and the owners are such a lovely family. Jose’s passion for food is obvious — not just in how he treats customers, but in how good the food tastes. Blanca is an absolute sweetheart, and Claudia has awesome customer service and makes you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk up.
This is definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone.

I never do food trucks, but after reading the great reviews I took the plunge. I’m a sucker for authentic Mexican steak tacos. I was pleasantly surprised with how awesome they were. I can always tell freshness by the cilantro and lime and they were beautiful. Everything was perfectly balanced, steak, cilantro and onions. The corn tortillas were fantastic too with great flavor. They didn’t fall apart and held everything in place perfectly. Very cool little spot on the corner of 49th street and park blvd by the Chevron gas station. I highly recommend! Clean and delish!!

I had a really easy experience here. The food was very good ! The hot sauce is actually spicy ❤️ I had a Quesabirrias and the flavor was perfect! I asked for to go and they were very quick and I had utensils in my bag.

It’s a food truck with outside seating in a busy intersection. Very clean and well put together. Highly recommend their food. Good portions, good value for quality.

El Buen Gusto is a hidden gem! I had the bistec tacos and they were incredible — tender, juicy, and served on homemade tortillas that the owner was hand-prepping right at the truck. The flavors were bold, fresh, and truly authentic. I also tried their homemade agua de Jamaica, which was perfectly refreshing. And to end on a sweet note, I ordered the churros — filled with dulce de leche and absolutely delicious. Everything felt genuine and made with love. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing food!! Ceviche is incredible and fresh, and we loved the tacos, esquites, and horchata. There’s a really sweet sitting area right next to the truck where we got to enjoy our food in the sunshine. We will definitely be back!
