The Acapulco quesadilla was ok. The chille poblanos was ok. Again they put good pull cheese in it. But they add there cheese sauce. Runny and bland. Beans were good. Nice flavor. Possibly actually homemade. Because some of the beans had a bit of bite to them, not just all mush from a can. And the rice was dry. Definitely made hours earlier. not even more so.
If you want plenty of parking and mediocre food but fantastic portions, there’s your spot.
I went when they first opened. Talked with the owner and expressed how hopeful I was to have good Mexican food available. Tonight, food was picked up from there. It was so bad, i couldn’t finish.
Maybe its because I’ve spent a lot of time in Mexico but damn, you’d think it might at least be decent. Unfortunately, ignorant Americans think this is Mexican and it is NOT!
I could go further to say its not even TexMex. It tastes like what is scraped off the grill into the drip tray. Nothing about it tastes fresh and they charge 5 times what it would cost South of the boarder. I swear,…. They use liquid smoke…. Not good food.
Con was thinner generic chips on the stale side and sauce was authentic by being too watery, lacking vegetables and substance and very tomato tasting.
I would of loved to have a hearty and zesty flavours coming from fresh lime and cilantro etc..
Fajitas were pretty good portion wise. It took 3 plates for all the ingredients to arrive. There could of been more green vegetables and better seasoning in the proteins.
Everything was in the ballpark, just nothing memorable or unique about the experience.
You will get your money’s worth, just rather bland run of the mill meal.
I asked for green sauce or something different to dip the chips into. Ended up with 2 different small bowls of hot sauce instead.
So I offered to go eat somewhere else so he wouldn’t have to keep insulting me an that worked. He then left our table and we enjoyed our dinner.
I feel bad for the people who have to work with that guy.
Seated immediately.
Food was tastey. Lunch portions were a bit smaller than other places, but I dont eat big anyway. Prices were average. Area was quiet and comfortable.
