Who puts liquid in a regular to go box?! Yall have plenty of bowls with lids for sauce but you put flan with liquid caramel sauce into a REGULAR TO GO BOX?! By the time I got to my car it was everywhere. Now my steering wheel and leather seats are all sticky as well as it leaked into my wet burrito which if anyone is wondering does not taste good with caramel. The food looks and tastes like it’s been made and sitting under a window for half the day. I love the one in Michigan city, I will not come here again. The flan wasn’t even good the whole top layer was inedible and gross.

Bland, bland, bland.
The frozen Margarita tasted like ice. No lime flavoring, no tequila.
Quesabirria tacos tasted absolutely like corn. Usually I love the corn shell, but the meat had zero flavor, so all you can taste is corn. The consume was water flavored and their “homemade hotsauce” was no better than Tabasco.
Even the queso dip tasted bland. I was extremely disappointed.

Coming from Chicago where there are tons of Mexican restaurant options. I wasn’t sure what to expect when trying this place out but WOW this food is delicious! I had the steak Mexicano plate and hubby had the Quesabirria. Delicious and authentic. Service was really good too.

this place has the best Mexican food and the whole county of Laporte in my opinion. and the salsa you cannot get it anywhere better, it’s very chunky and spicy just the way it should be. the prices are very reasonable and the staff and everyone there are so respectful and polite, you have any questions or problems that are on top of everything:-) they definitely aim to please period I highly recommend..

I ordered a wet burrito and was asked if I wanted cheese sauce. Which I said yes assuming (wrong on my part) it already came with red sauce. When it was brought there was no red sauce on burrito. Which I didn’t ask for but again thought by default that’s what wet burrito is, coated in red sauce. So if i have to specifically request the cheese sauce and it doesn’t come with red sauce……where is the actual “wet” come from here in wet burrito? To top that off our server only came to our table a couple times and once my girlfriend had to go find someone because something was missing from her meal she was under assumption came with it since she said menu description said it had the missing item. Also what we did get was very very bland. Nothing had any real flavor. This was my first and probably last experience with the place. Nothing was even close to impressive or good tasting. Taco Bell wouldve been a better choice. So we paid $40 to be disappointed to point we not only didnt even finish half our food but didn’t bother to take left overs.

They were not extremely busy waited 45 minutes for 3 tacos. The server only came to the table twice in the beginning and in the end. I would have to say the service was horrible And the food was not good the beans were extremely watery! As I was leaving a young lady outside was extremely upset because they placed all of her food items in the bag upside down horrible. I almost forgot to mention they are overpriced. I will never go there again.

This restaurant is just eh. There were many positives, but also many negatives.
Positives:
•Great service (Didn’t have to ask to fill up my water)
•Nice staff
•The meat in the dishes was good
•Chips and salsa was good
Negatives:
•Outdoor dining is right by the street and is very noisy
•The cheese was fake and food besides the meat was just eh
•Margarita was a mix
Not a bad dining experience, but not great

Free chips and salsa upon arrival. It was spicy for me. My parents love this place. My 1st time. Portions are generous. Consider splitting a meal.
