Food was ok, and waitress was awesome! Really upset over the pricing. Paid $5 more than the menu prices and their idea of noting on the menu “prices subject to change” makes it okay to charge more. Feels very deceptive to me. Never had this happen at any restaurant before. Not going back due to pricing policy.

My honest opinion I would choose El Jimador any day over this restaurant. I wasn’t too happy about the chips they were kinda hard. Other than that the food was OK but I wouldn’t say great. The staff could do better as when we were done eating we all sat there for at least 15 minutes before anybody bothered with us I had to raise my hand to get a staff attention just to ask for her to go box

I work nights so I love that I can go in at 7am and order anything from their menu. Margaritas are great and the chori-queso is a favorite!

Well let me preface this review by saying I lived in Corpus Christi for 8 years and got very spoiled by all the mom and pop shops there. To start it took a lot longer for a mostly empty restaurant to come to the table to get the drink order and drop off the chips and salsa. Second and this basically killed the whole experience for me! The chips was stale and the salsa tastes like it came from the chip isle at Walmart. Once we finally got our order in, it didn’t take too long to get it. I had the cheese steak burrito. The asada was a bit overcooked with a good amount of crunch. But overall not bad. The red sauce was very runny but not bad either. This restaurant seems to be what happens when a white person from Iowa would do. While it’s not horrible by any means there are too many other restaurants with soooooo much better food for the same price.

Mediocre. Enchiladas were good, if a little bland. My wife was impressed with the beef fajita quesadilla. Service is not bad. Place is clean and comfortable.

Normally decent service decent food decent prices but they are chronically late in showing up and this morning I was chewed out for entering the building before they got there. The sign said 6:00 am the door was unlocked. It peeved me off so I’ll do them a favor and never grace their door with my shadow again. I ate there 7 days a week so that’s several thousand dollars annually that cashier lost her company

Went by myself to have some alone time. I was greeted with a smile. Got seated and waitress came to help me very quickly. She spoke no English and I speak no Spanish but we made it work. She brought my food in a timely manner and it was delicious. I got bill, paid and left. The experience was great and I would recommend to anyone.

Won’t be going here any more. The service seems to get worse and worse every time we go. Today my husband got rice and bean tacos and when we informed the waitress it was incorrect and what he really ordered, she said “oh that’s not what I heard”. My fajitas tasted like they were from the frozen isle at the store, the churro beans tasted sour and old, and the rice was flavorless. The only good thing was the sweet tea.

I used to really love this place…however

The chips are ALWAYS stale, and not just a little old but hard enough to break a tooth. The queso is good, but only before 6pm when they start watering it down. If you come in the evening, the queso is all water. When I have gotten Al Pastor tacos here, they have always been served with cilantro stems (no leaves).

My biggest complaint is that I found a ROCK in my food!!! It is shocking that this place has even a B health code rating.
