The food was amazing! I had the pollo con tajadas and my partner had the tacos hondureños—both were packed with flavor and tasted super authentic. The service was great and the food came out fast. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Was looking for a pupusa spot and Google lead us to this spot. This place did not disappoint! This place is great! The pupusa was packed and filled up. The pupusa revuelta was delicious! This is a hidden gem in Citrus Heights and if you are around the area you you should stop by this spot and give it a try! Music and ambience was great too. I will forsure be back to this spot.

Our first time here and we are definitely coming back and spreading the word to others. The food was delicious and portions are generous. We had the yucca frita with carne frita and the Boritracho plate and the pastelon. The Boritracho is a combo with different meats and sure to satisfy. They have a great variety of food. The restaurant is clean and so are the bathrooms and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very happy. The customer service was amazing, we felt like we knew them, they checked up on us often and were very accommodating. Definitely Addis g this restaurant to our rotation.

Three of us ,at least one time per month, enjoy trying new and different local eateries for lunch. This place, small , but was sensational.
Food was a wide variety of Honduran and Puerto Rican. Service was excellent, food was well prepared, colorful, and very nice portions.
El Boritracho is going on our go back to list.

This is an awesome little hispanic restaurant tucked away in Citrus Heights. I had the carne molida on pickled cabbage and plantains with a side of arroz con gondules. Food was spot on. The molida was seasoned perfectly, and the arroz, on point. She had the mofongo, which looked and smelled amazing. The restaurant itself isn’t massive, but if you want some good Puerto Rican or Salvadorian cuisine, this spot is worth a visit.

We’ve been waiting for a great Puerto Rican restaurant to come to the Sacramento region, and we couldn’t be happier it is so close to home for us! We can finally get mofongo without traveling to the Bay Area or southern California. We ordered way too much food in an effort to try several things to pick favorites for future visits. We will still have a hard time since everything was so good. The place was packed on a Sunday, which says a lot for a newer restaurant. Hoping they can get server assistance to speed up service, so pack your patience. It is worth it! Will definitely be returning.
