El Bombero 408 is hands-down one of the best Mexican food trucks around! Their Tijuana-style tacos and mulitas are incredible, packed with flavor and made with high-quality meats like asada, barbacoa, birria, and lengua. Amazing food and great service—especially for a first-time visit. The tacos absolutely stole the show: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The tortillas were perfect, the fillings were well-seasoned, and every bite felt balanced and satisfying. It’s the kind of taco that makes you want to try all the options on the menu. Friendly staff made the experience even better, and they were happy to help with recommendations. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to, mainly for those tacos

This will be a regular place for me, my family and friends. While the ambiance is non existent, the food is worth it. I had tacos- azada, pastor and tripas. All were perfectly cooked. Their agua fresca was refreshing on a warm day.

TAKE EXTREME CAUTION BEFORE EATING HERE !!! Not only are you very likely to receive food with multiple stands of long hairs and little bugs and you will be given the worst customer service, and for this type of experience you will be ridiculously overcharged. Once I showed her, her own hair in my food I was met with even more hostility than before. I am never one to talk down on small businesses but she started to talk about me in Spanish like I wouldn’t understand her. I was overcharged, exposed to unsafe food conditions, racially profiled and on top of everything I didn’t even receive a receipt for my refund because she said she “didn’t know”. Never eating here again and I am warning everyone else to not waste your time, money, and energy here either.

I have only been here a couple of times but every single time I’ve gone the food has been tasty and delicious. It’s best to arrive early to have a chance at everything on the menu because they do sell out fast. I love their agua frescas and their chicken burrito

This spot is amazing! I’ve tried their other location in San Jose so i was super excited to know that they had a spot in Fremont too!
The staff are super friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! My go to is the mulita, if you like quesadillas and tacos it’s like they both had a baby and that’s the Mulita. percent will keep coming back! I wanted to take a pic of my food..but i ate it all hahaha. Definitely check them out!

I had a really disappointing experience here. Not only was I overcharged a lot, but the service was extremely unprofessional. The woman serving me had a very dismissive attitude from the start. To make matters worse, I found a long blonde hair deeply embedded in my burrito. When I brought it to her attention, instead of apologizing or handling it professionally, she became defensive and seemed irritated that I even said something, then took the burrito and threw it away before I could take a picture of it as proof. There was no genuine apology, no effort to make it right, and I wasn’t even provided a proper refund receipt. Food safety and basic customer service should be the bare minimum. I understand mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable and completely unprofessional. I won’t be returning.
