My family owns this restaurant and we are very proud on how far it has come! The name (El Bernal) is inspired by the iconic mountain landmark in my parents’ hometown, which the area is well known for.
We are so grateful that our family can cook the customers fresh Mexican food with every dish possible! So happy we get to share everything we have created and worked hard for! Enjoy our cheap lunch special with a margarita any chance you get!

This was my first time going to this new Mexican restaurant, I was very pleased with the food and service.
English is loosely spoken by the staff, but they get the message.
The menu is large and looks all tasty.
I will return again to try other authentic dishes.
I also saw that they had a vegetarian section on the menu!
I highly recommend that you try your favorite dishes here to make comparisons.

My family and I visited this restaurant tonight for the first time. The service was decent. You could tell the manager/owner maybe? really cared about the customers and the food. The wait staff on the other hand didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing. It also took a very long time for us to get our food. The waitress brought us our check way before our food was brought out to us. When we paid our bill was around $53 but when they rang us up it jumped up over $60 for some reason which was a little odd. I don’t think we will be going out of our way to eat here again.

We had Nachos El Bernal and Dorado tacos. Both superb! The fresh guacamole: chunky and delicious. One of our group said the margaritas were tasty. The salsa is not spicy, good for the sensitive pallet, so ask for the spicy red and green sauce to heat things up! Friendly staff – the owner greets customers as they are seated. Fully recommend!

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant because they offered items not available at other local Mexican restaurants, such as nopales, quesabirria, tortas, barbacoa, tripe, and al pastor options. My husband got the al pastor and carnitas street tacos and I got the quesadilla El Bernal al pastor. Everything was delicious, and you couldn’t ask for better service. The owner and wait staff were all wonderful. We’ll definitely be back soon and often.

I was thrilled to see a local place offer al pastor (among other things, but that’s my favorite). We had a great meal and will definitely be back soon and often. The food and service were great, not sure if the carnitas street tacos or the al pastor quesadilla was better but I’m definitely willing to order either again
Update- my wife and I have now been back several times and they continue to impress. Everything has been great, but in my opinion the best dishes have been the carnitas and the quesabirria

My boyfriend and I come in fairly often. The staff are friendly and attentive I always get the Chile Colorado and it’s always good tastes wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.
