The food here is amazing. There are so many great places to eat in Boston, El Barrio is an absolute must. The entire staff is always friendly whenever I stop in and I have been coming here for years. I plan to keep coming back for many more.
My go-to orders are the steak burrito, birria trio, chicken quesadillas, and beef empanadas. One of the best birria I have tasted in a while. You can request their hot sauce on the side too which I do every visit.

Barrio is a really solid take-out and quick-serve sort of place.
The staff are nice and they do a good job following your directions for items like burritos where you can specify a lot of your preferences.
The wait times can get kinda crazy if you order at lunchtime, so I usually order online and then head over.
Surprisingly, they have beer, wine, and mixed drinks, in addition to horchata and the usual options.

El Barrio is our go to for takeout. They constantly deliver high quality, delicious food for incredibly reasonable prices. They also consistently have their food ready (delivery or pickup) on time or even a little early!

I go there a few times but food is never consistent when it comes to flavors and textures, Today I almost choked on a bone from the Carnitas Taco. BONE was pretty good size lol I was hungry went right in swallowed & coughed untill was unlodged.

For a location Mexican restaurant, everything has been on point from presentation and communication with the staff. Love there, Taco salad, and I had a steak burrito. Also, I did try four soft corn tacos (chicken,fish,steak, and shrimp)

Sweet little corner spot and super friendly folks. Got the Cantina Bowl and a like margarita. Bowl portion was perfect – not this huge exaggerated about but left me feeling full and satisfied. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Margarita was solid (read strong!), and comes in a friendly little pouch if you need to go. 10/10 would recommend

Cozy spot for lunch. Food was good, staff was pleasant. Smaller than I thought, no table service ( order and pick up at counter, clear your own table). Good guac. Drink was delicious, but a bit pricey for the size.
