Now I did not go with the highest of hopes so I will not go fully in on this place however let’s just start at the chili that was for some reason a Little over coagulated with no spice and very little flavor the cheese was nice and cheesy though the steak in the burrito seemed either over cooked or cooked hours before order the rice was not cooked completely and some bits were hard while others were soft the veggies in the rice seemed like frozen bagged peas and carrots color of the rice was light and no spice as well not what I’m used to with Spanish rice the beans were ok yep just okay staff was not rude but she wasn’t nice either seemed like she just did not like to talk we did get to play two free games of pool while we waited which was fun overall won’t be going back

This place is great, it was kinda slow when we came in but we liked that. The waitress was nice and attentive! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for great food and drinks!

Costumer service down the drain. Once I got my food she never came by to see if I needed refill or anything else. Food was ok a 7 out of 10. But service was horrible and with attitude. Like to point out I was the only costumer there.

The waitress was nice but the food was horrible. My kid wouldn’t even eat the chicken nuggets or fries which was a surprise. She LOVES chicken nuggets and fries. My friends meat was super dry and the menudo had no flavor to it. Not worth the $41 we spent. Service was good but not the food.

I liked it this place. The staff was friendly. I didn’t eat there but i had a few drinks, played a couple of games of pool and one of the cocktail waitresses brought me home with her. If you go to Los Potreros, go in with a good attitude and be friendly and you will have a nice time. The drinks are expensive but good, the music is LOUD and the people are cool.

This restaurant was recommended by one of the employees at the Denver Market while we were there for the antique gun show. The food was great! All 4 of us agreed! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re wanting authentic Mexican food and atmosphere

The customer service was excellent . No words beyond it. I can’t know for other days for anyone but on this night the same guy serving us was the same one cooking our food. And I was so pleased with his performance .this was my first time here and I would definitely come back. I wish I knew the gentlemans name so he can be Acknowledge for his dedication. Food was very presentable and tasted great ! Also bartender lady was quick as well. This was one December 27.th 2018.:)

My family and I stopped by during a road trip since it’s near the freeway. The tripa tacos were great! The music was good too, didn’t really like their drinks or their ceviche (it has ketchup, it’s kinda gross and the menu didn’t specify it had it). We told the waitress we didn’t like it and she said there was nothing she could do about it. As far as the food we ate… personally I enjoyed the food but I think it’s over priced for basic Mexican food.

Friendly service! The green chile is homemade and it’s delicious!! They use quality ingredients, such as the chicken and beef in their main entrees. You get a lot of food for the prices, which are comparable to begin with. Highly recommend this place!

I was pleased with the food(only reason they get 2 stars).. but the service was terrible. The waitress acted like asking questions about the menu was a problem. She only checked on our table twice.(we were her only table) I ordered a sweet tea and my wife ordered a lemonade to eat with our meals and 2 corona while we were waiting. When paying the check we asked for 2 Togo lemonade drinks(the sweet tea was not that good). She brought back 2 lemonade drinks in a styrofoam soup container and charged us $6. We tipped 20% even though the service was subpar. So for her to charge that much for Togo drinks by putting them in exlarge styrofoam cups for soup was uncalled for. She must have thought we wouldn’t tip. But she was wrong. She could have told us it’s a charge for Togo drinks but instead tried to be sneaky. They take advantage of tourists here so be careful if your not a local.
