They charge you too pay with a debit card! Who carries cash anymore. This place was amazing back in the day. Not so much anymore. Limited drink menu and food menu. Saving grace was the fajitas were delicious. If all you want is beer or margaritas with good fajitas this is your place.

Food was pretty good. Drink Menu is limited, Beer is also limited, Service could have been better when we were sitting inside most the action was outside.. The season for the meat was delicious further shared fajitas myself and husband shared.

The restaurant was very clean. the patio area was very nice and wasn’t very hot during the steamy weather. there are misting fans throughout. The food was good, and the drinks were great. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Stopped in for lunch on Friday. During lunch on weekdays they have a limited menu to choose from. Had beef enchiladas with Verde sauce. Had some queso and chips with a Strawberry Margarita. Hot sauce with chips was weak and the queso was ok. The meal was out quickly and was good. The Margarita wasn’t bad. It was a typical Mexican restaurant experience.

Went against all the negative reviews, and glad that we decided to try it regardless of reviews. Our server was awesome, and food was prepared quickly. Salsa and chips were good. Salsa isn’t spicy, but, has a good flavor. Grilled veggies were extremely good. The small cup of queso blanco(not pictured) was worth the $6. Will definitely try again. The patio had a nice chill atmosphere.

Easily our new fav Tex-Mex place in DFW!! The fajitas are absolutely fire– both steak AND chicken– which I almost never say about anywhere, haha. The salsa is a bit mid, and if you get the queso blanco with spinach they just sprinkle the espinaca on top, but listen– don’t let that dissuade you! The food and drinks all come out lightning fast, which has been unheard-of from my DFW TexMex experiences. Tried the mango-strawberry mixed frozen marg this time and it was the first time in memory I’ve ever finished a full-goblet margarita. I know people love to leave reviews when they dislike a place, but I’m here to say: there is a REASON this place instantly became our fav, even with the more “average” parts of the experience!!! Just be smart and don’t be afraid to try different stuff: once you find the right thing, El Arroyo does NOT disappoint!! ✌️ Thanks so much, y’all!!

Drink was great, but the nachos were nasty even after adding queso cheese. They used to be so yummy
