When an Arriero comes home after a long day herding cattle and carrying food and other products, a fresh and hearty dinner is the best ending to the day! BOY!!!!! This place KILLED IT!!! The menu layout was a bit confusing. But once questions were answered, it was cake. I had the Arriero burrito and my wife had the pulled pork burrito. The queso was an actual cheese sauce and not cheese water. The salsa bar was fully stocked and had a wide variety of salsas. All of them were delicious! Interior was clean and the staff was cool. This will be a part of our places to visit everytime we’re back home.

Service was pretty quick, food was good over all except that rolled fried chicken tacos were made with chopped chicken… Chicken should be shredded. While we ate there and there was only 3 of us in the restaurant a couple of older ladies came in, they stood near the register for about 10 minutes looking at the menu and nobody acknowledged them at all. They ended walking out. The other thing we didn’t appreciate is that one of the girls working there started to sweep the floor while we were still eating sweeping towards our table.

-Salsa verde has a perfect balance of acid to spiciness and flavor (they had more on their salsa/ taco toppings bar compared to any place I’ve been in town with the similar options)
-Darker red salsa has just right amount of heat without being overwhelming

The lady at the front was so nice and, as a former restaurant employee, I felt so incredibly bad when I realized (as I was being handed my food) that I walked in at 9pm when they were closing. They were so accommodating and I will definitely be back!

I ordered the torta and was very pleased. I am from CA where Mexican food is abundant and was impressed to find a place that would satisfy the Mexican food craving so far from the border.

Got some carnitas, two carne asada tacos and one carnitas taco. Carnitas was not as flavorful as I expected; same with the carne asada. The salsas were excellent.

I had torta cubana. It was excellent. They have a salsa bar so you can pick your salsa. I got red, green and the coleslaw stuff. All the were hot .
