I order chicken burrito and fajita nachos. they give me wrong order and I went inside and showed them… they gave me another order which was also wrong. It had 2 beef burrito and one taco. Everything was beef. I belong to a religion where beef is not allowed and i am very dissatisfied with what they did to me today. It used to be good other time. Just telling to be carful so you don’t feel like wasting money on the food you wouldn’t eat.

Excellent authentic Mexican restaurant! Our server was attentive and friendly. Our food came out really quick. We ordered the fish ceviche, California burrito, and camarones Chipotle. The ceviche was excellent. It was a very big portion and was very fresh. I will definitely be coming back here regularly.

Update: I have now eaten here several times and my initial review stands. This place is a gem.
We stopped in here, first time, for dinner and had a great experience. The food was generous in portions, very tasty, and piping hot. A lot of places cook the meats too long and dry it out, but everything was cooked perfectly and the meat was juicy. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve eaten in awhile.
Good prices too.
Our service was the weak spot, but wasn’t terrible. No check up for drinks or anything till we were completely dry.
We look forward to returning.

The food is always great and the service is always fantastic! This has been our lunch spot for years. I’ve tried pretty much most on the menu. Very authentic. This time was dinner and the drinks were slamming!

Just wasn’t for me, the service wasn’t bad. But didn’t ask us how we were doing until near the end and refills & such took time. This restaurant has alot of booths and seating. I got enchiladas and my friend got the spicy burrito. My enchiladas were okay but I’ve had better. Everything was just basic flavors.
My friend had been there atleast 5 times before this and said it was never like this so could have been an off day. ♀️

Out of towners – came here for takeout. Had a bad experience with another Mexican restaurant when we first came in, so we were glad to find this place! All four of us demolished our orders. It was ready so fast, I ordered a margarita while we waited – it was huge – and I had to hustle to finish it because food was ready so fast. Great service, great food!

Wife and I had been here a number of times when we lived in Grand Rapids 15+ years ago. We were pleased to see this place still in business and so decided to go again while in town to see family.
Turns out that was a fantastic idea. The food was every bit as good as it was the last time we were there and very possibly better! Among the group we got the quesadilla arriero, a couple chimichangas (beef, chicken), beef tacos, chicken quesadilla, and the banana chimichanga for dessert. They were all fantastic! I really loved the quesadilla arriero! That’s the best quesadilla I’ve had in a long time! Everyone else seemed very pleased with the food as well. Portion sizes were pretty generous too and as typical, everything came with rice and beans! The chips and salsa were really good as a warm up as well! Prices were very reasonable too. 6 adults and 2 kids eating with a shared dessert for less than $100 is doing really well as far as I’m concerned anymore!

The food was solid, but nothing special. The restaurant feels clean and has an inviting atmosphere. The service was great, they are quick to bring and refill complementary chips and salsa. The margaritas are huge fishbowl style. I got the skinny margarita and it was bad, really sweet with hardly any tequila. I would go back but I wouldn’t get a marg again. Good option for Mexican food in Grand Rapids.
