The service was fast and friendly, the prices were super super reasonable, and the food tasted amazing. I got the pallea, tostones with half chicken half beef, and the papas rellenas. Everything was really flavorful and very filling.

We both had a shredded beef empanada and the Pabellon. The food was absolutely delicious. Wow such flavors. The service was personable. I feel the quality and amount of food was well worth the reasonable price. Will definitely return.

El Arepon was like a salsa dance on the taste buds of our tongues! Omaha-this is a hidden gem. Flavor. Quality. Amazing. Kind staff and an amazing filling meal. We had the Venezuelan & Colombian national plates. Great flavor! We added a passionfruit juice & a rice pudding beverage to complete the meal. Very filling. Very good! Your stomach will smile! 🙂

The food here is delicious! Well worth the drive. We got the reina pepiada arepa (shredded chicken), the bean and cheese empanada, the parrillas (meat platter), and chicha (milk, rice, and cinnamon drink). Very flavorful and there are some nice sauces on the side. Service is fast and the staff are very friendly. Prices are pretty solid too. I will definitely be coming back!

We drove forty minutes just to try this place and it was amazing!! The service was very fast and helpful. Everyone there was kind. The food itself was delicious. I got the meat platter and everything on it was extremely flavorful. The steak and chicken were tender and the chorizo was perfectly crispy on the outside. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was lovely. All the sides on my platter were so good. I will definitely be back. We got flan to go because it just sounded to good to not get.

Undoubtedly… one of best hidden gems in the entire metro!!! Way to go Bellevue!

This place definitely brings that type of authentic flavor that you find in South America. So much flavor, soul, and love in the food here!

Richard is a fantastic host… and he creates an authentic laid back atmosphere that is incredibly inviting and friendly… almost like your friend is showing you his culture on a plate. You can taste the passion and pride in the food!!!

If you’re interested in trying world foods… this place is a must. But don’t rush… talk to Richard… have a conversation… and let him bring you a little bit of various things. Make it an experience!!! Have a cerveza and kick back.

I’ve trekked the world… and I love eating at places like this because you can taste the love they have for their food. I don’t care where you are in Omaha… if you haven’t tried this place… you’re missing out.

Between the laid back atmosphere, service with gusto, and southern hemisphere flavor… this place WILL BE a regular visit.

We were traveling through from out of town and came across El Arepon while looking for a great local spot to eat. I’ve been to Venezuela many times and love the food, and this place truly impressed me-we ended up coming back three days in a row because it was that good! I had the patacón (a sandwich with plantains as the “bread”), and it was absolutely delicious. The passionfruit juice was refreshing and amazing, and the arepas and empanadas were outstanding as well.
Everything tasted authentic and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a warm, flavorful Venezuelan food experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

The atmosphere there is a work in progress. Inside, you could tell they were working on it. The outside, needed work. When I pulled up, I wasn’t sure it was open. I’m so glad I went inside! Such a gem!
Our waitress was amazing. She explained items to us and recommended a few things. She was prompt and friendly. She was patient with our endless questions.
Food: so good! We didn’t get anything that wasn’t delicious.
This is a must visit and enjoy sort of gem.

A small, clean, sit-down restaurant with table service. Our server was incredibly gracious and we felt welcomed, even though we arrived 45 minutes before closing. All of the food was amazing. My vegetarian friends were happy with their meals. I will definitely go back.
