We ordered the Arepa con Pollo with tostones and the Festival Salvadoreño. We shared the Festival Salvadoreño so we could split the Yuca and plantains and each have a sweet tamale. I ate the Pupusas Revueltas as my dinner. The yuca were so good, firm and tasty. The plantains were ripe, sweet, and cooked perfectly. And the sweet tamales, oh my! That was a new food for us and we loved them. Stuffed with corn and fried up almsot like a pastry, these were tasty enough to almost be a dessert the corn was so sweet! The pupusas revueltas were soooooo tasty. You can wait to eat these last because they hold the heat in for ages! The pork was so tender and tasty, especially topped with the curtido and some tomato sauce. The refried beans were insanely good, too.
My husband had the Arepa con Pollo. It was SO stuffed with chicken and veggies and rhe ebst tasting sauce. It was overflowing, and we used the extra stuffing as a topping for the tostones. Wonders! That was good. They could make a whole dish out of those tostones. They are made with green plantains, so they aren’t sweet like the regular plantains. We also liked the green sauce on them. I forget what that is called but it’s the green sauce you get at a lot of Latin restaurants rhat is always so tasty and light.
I wish I had room for flan, but even sharing mt meal with my husband I was so full, and so was he. Next time I will order lighter so I can try the flan. I bet it’s amazing!
I did try the flight if margaritas though. Yay! This needs to happen at more restaurants. I’m not a beer fan, but a flight of margaritas will suck me in every time. Lol
I’m so happy to see a new Latin restaurant in town and the food is so good we already plan on coming back. The menu is HUGE. The atmosphere is wonderful, with a nice decor and fantastic Latin music playing while you eat. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed talking with the waiter who answered all our menu item questions. We highly recommend this place. For a restaurant so new, they seem to have rhe kinks worked out early because our service was perfect.
The restrooms are wide enough for a wheelchair. You go through one main door to enter a small foyer, then there are separate doors for the men’s and women’s rooms inside that first door. But you can get a wheelchair through each of these doors. There is a parking lot with plenty of space, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Overall, a great new restaurant to tickle your taste buds and make you roll out of there with full stomach as and smiling faces. The pricing is very reasonable for Cleveland. That’s nice too, finding a place where you can eat a fantastic, home-cooked quality meal without spending a ton of money.
Enjoy!
