When in comes to local Mexican food, these amigos put the “A” back into Authentic. When you arrive, hook a left and head toward the bar. We shared the fajitas plate which was overloaded with steak, chicken and shrimp and grilled to perfection. The refried beans had a unique but delicious flavor. Just a heads up, sodas come in bottles and their salsa is very good but not your typical texmex. We spooned it over our meat and what a treat! Nothing fancy about this place so wear what you want. They do serve alcoholic drinks. There is one booth that would accommodate a wheelchair.

Very good! I had 4 tacos. Really liked the carnitas and chicken. The menu makes prices different than what the price was at the counter but it was only off by a little so no big deal.

Small restaurant in a grocery store. They actually have more booths than I thought. Food was delicious. I recommend the lemonada, carnitas and pastor tacos. The enchiladas were also amazing. Ask for their spicy salsa !!! It was so good and flavorful. You can tell it’s made fresh. The drinks were made fresh and blended with fresh fruit. You can sit and watch them cook as well. Mostly fluent in Spanish but there is pictures if you’re worried. Amazing service 10/10.

First time there. It’s a very small Mexican market with a built-in mini restaurant. Not a place for a date of fancy romantic dinner, just quick awesome food. I tried the Pastor and Barbacoa Tacos with a mildly spicy sauce….they were very very good. $2.75 per Taco. They sell beers from Mexico and Guatemala. I highly recommend them for a quick lunch or dinner. The whole menu looked fantastic. This is REAL Mexican stuff, not what you find in most places around here.

I have passed this place many times and wondered what was in there so thanks google maps/ reviews for letting me peek inside. After weaving through the grocery store, I found two clean and warm seating areas. 8 tops by the kitchen and 4 tops next to the store area. Several reviews said they didn’t have the soup they wanted so I just asked what soups they did have and ordered that and a couple of tacos. What came out was a cauldron sized bowl of rocket hot soup with a plate of cilantro, onion, and lime as well as corn tortillas just in case you felt short changed by the soup volume. The fish tacos were really good as well and I am glad I got to try them, but I didn’t need more food. I did find the spoon small for the size of the bowl. I may bring a bigger spoon with me next time.

I went here with my husband about 30 min from close today and was met with the nicest staff I’ve encountered since moving to the Chattanooga area. The tacos were absolutely everything, we both had the al pastor and got a side of guacamole & chips and both were fantastic. The guy taking care of us checked in many times and we felt super taken care of. We are definitely becoming regulars here!

El Arca de Noe is a proverbial “hole in the wall.” It is a tienda or store with the restaurant. If you want leather belts, straw hats, or soccer (futball) shirts, this is the place. It also has some excellent food.

Seating is limited and it is pretty much no frills. Most of the people I have seen eating are latino – always a good sign for me. Often when I check out a new place, I order Huevos Rancheros – Mexican breakfast. This ample plat had two fried eggs with rice, beans, and some great chorizo. Chorizo is Mexican sausage and their type s my favorite. It is ground like breakfast sausage and not greasy like some chorizo. It came with plenty of fresh corn tortillas. My friend has Guatemalan Enchiladas (chicken) with were great. They had a distinctive red-brown sauce. The salsa that came with chips was thin but very tasty.

I look forward to trying more of their food.

I’ve heard great things about this spot, and none of it was an exaggeration, the food was amazing! The fresh Limonada is perfect on a summer day and the tacos al pastor are some of the best I’ve had in Chattanooga! Highly recommend if you want to be transported to a taco stand in Mexico ❤️

Just stopped at this Taco Truck for the first time and the owner. Noah is very friendly and the food is very good. The prices are also great. The food is not over seasoned and you get a big portion for what you pay. The fresh juice is also amazing. I’ll probably be back to try something different tomorrow.
