I brought my wife and son here for the first time … service was not excellent but good .. we ordered a grilled chicken avocado sandwich for my wife … my son had the calzone and I had the steak and shrimp scampi… the food had a great presentation and the taste was excellent.. different than other Italian restaurants… all the dishes tasted super fresh, delicious and with a subtle twist of Italian Mexican and Cajun cuisine…. definitely coming back to try the rest of the menus … p.s. small spot but clean and cozy

I ordered a Blackened Chicken Alfredo from here for delivery, with very high hopes based on the reviews but I am so disappointed. I was shocked when I opened the container and saw a bowl with a HUGE amount of sauce, it basically looks like soup. I tried pouring out some sauce and got about 6oz and the pasta was still a sloppy mess of sauce. After trying a bite, the pasta is undercooked and mushy and the sauce had zero flavor. So nasty and such a bad experience and I didn’t even get my money back. Do not eat here!

First visit to El Appetiz. Had the steak and mushroom sandwich. It was the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had for under $10!! And it comes with fries or a salad. Large portion and excellent ingredients. It was a steak cut into thick, tasty strips. Look it should be. The owner was very kind and friendly. Great service and quick preparation. And easy parking. I’ll be a regular customer. I highly recommend!
