The food at El Apartamento is absolutely delicious! The meat is cooked to perfection, not overdone, just right, and every dish bursts with freshness from the high-quality condiments and ingredients they use. This place has quickly become one of my favorite Colombian spots!
You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on their menu, but my top picks are the Montaditas and the Apartamento Burger, both are full of authentic flavor. Don’t miss out on the Lulo drink either; it’s super refreshing and perfectly balanced, not too sweet.
What really sets this place apart is the customer experience. From Daniel, the owner, to every member of his team, they treat you like family and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend!

This is a new Colombian fast food restaurant located inside a food hall, right in the heart of Downtown SJ. Today, I tried the Costeña burger—OMG! My new favorite burger! Instead of bread, it comes with green plantains, which is great because it’s gluten-free! The flavors were definitely there. It also comes with shredded chicken, vegetables, adding a delicious touch.
We also shared the Montaditos—four small arepas filled with cheese and topped with shredded chicken & corn. They were very flavorful too!
As for the service, it was quick! Everything arrived within 10 minutes. I love seeing more Colombian restaurants popping up in San José!

I highly recommend trying the best fusion burgers in the Bay Area. They are incredibly delicious! The burger with plantain instead of regular bread is truly exceptional. It is a place you should definitely visit. They serve different plates. No only burgers, but those are my favorite!

They are the best!! OMG!! You have to try La del Apto—it’s an explosion of flavors, so tasty!! My friend is vegetarian and ordered La Amazónica, and he absolutely loved it! I was skeptical because most vegetarian burgers I’ve tried are… meh , but this one? Trust me, it’s AMAZING!

There is a new food hall in San Jose and it’s filled with a lot of new businesses. Colombian burgers? Yes please! You can order online or at the kiosk. The menu is extensive with a mix of options (including a vegetarian burger). I ordered El Apto which came with a beef patty, bacon, shredded chciken, lettuce, tomato…all between a brioche bun. This came with fries and a side of pineapple salsa and El Apto sauce.
