There may not be a lot of cars in the parking lot but don’t let that get in the way. It’s set up like a take out restaurant not full service but… The food is out of this world!! It’s fresh, flavorful, affordable, and you get a lot for your money. The chicken is juicy not dry, and the steak is tender. We will definitely make this a staple in our go to restaurants.

Finally stopped in. This place has been numerous restaurants throughout the years. Every time I drive by it’s quite busy for lunch and dinner. Plenty of free parking.
You walk up to the counter and order and they will bring your food out to you.
Really enjoyed our food , with the exception of the salsa that came with the side of chips (not included in meal). The salsa was tasteless. It looked good and had good consistency but both my wife and I felt it was completely tasteless. I noticed another table that didn’t hardly touch their bowl of salsa and left it behind.
The main meals were fantastic taste wise. A bit odd that a burrito comes with either a little small side salad or french fries versus your typical rice and beans. But good taste.
We would both eat there again just avoid paying for the salsa

We ordered steak tacos, braised beef taco, and a Verde tamale. Everything was okay – the steak (asada) meat was lacking in any flavor, but the tenderness was good. The braised beef had decent flavor. The tamal was good and moist. The sauces though were not the best – I’ve had better Verde sauces and the red sauce had an odd sweetness to it. The salsa (with the chips and salsa) tasted kind of like the tostitos salsa they sell in grocery stores – the chips and salsa were also extra and not free. Overall, the salsa and sauces didn’t taste fresh and had this odd sweetness to it. We asked for waters and the guy working gave us a confused and weird look while walking away – seemed a bit inconsiderate, so we had to order some sodas/drinks in the fridge there.

WOW!!!! The food is freaking delicious and Authentic! We love Mexican food and El Amigo’s is the real deal. The empanadas are hands down the best we’ve found around here. The chicken burrito is 10/10! Salsa is fresh and authentic. Service is outstanding. We will definitely be back very soon!

Just left El Amigo Mexican Restaurant, and it was delicious!
It’s a super authentic spot with a great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and amazing food. I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and flavor of everything I tried.
Definitely a 5-star experience, and if you’re into authentic Mexican cuisine, I highly recommend checking it out!

Delicious homemade Mexican food at reasonable prices with lots of great options. I love their fresh salsas! They also made sure my food items did not have cheese or cream, as I have a dairy allergy. Friendly staff and outdoor patio is dog-friendly.
