The staff is 100% on point, they are very attentive and polite. They have authentic Mexican food that I love as well as Tex-Mex. They are fast and your food is hot. The place is very clean and a peek into the kitchen is clean. It’s the best in the area for sure. If you want Mexican this is the place to go even if you have to drive a few extra miles. I’ve been for lunch and dinner many times. When I’m in the area this is my go to place.

Wow! Five stars just doesn’t cover it. After living sixteen years in San Antonio, we appreciate good Mexican meals. The food at El Alamo is fabulous! We shared an enchilada combo and puffy taco plates. Everything was tasty, the service was excellent and the pricing is most reasonable. Do yourself a favor in Delhi Louisiana and enjoy a really good Mexican meal here!

This is a Mexican place I personally love. The staff are super nice. I think the only time I’ve ever had trouble with this place is when I ordered takeout one time and the tacos were super greasy. the food can be kinda greasy sometimes just as a general thing too.

We stopped here for an early dinner. Was seated right away and they immediately brought us chips and salsa. The staff was friendly and prompt. Our food was very good and plentiful. We took home leftovers. We would eat here again when in town. Just FYI for Covid no one working here was wearing masks

This is the first time for take out here but idk what this even is. I ordered chicken fajitas and this doesn’t even look like meat. It looks like some kind of vegan patty, fake ribs without bones, I don’t even know. It looked so disgusting that it went in the trash immediately. I live in Tallulah so driving 40 miles round trip to take this garbage back was not an option. The food has gotten worse and worse here eating in but I never thought I would get something so foul.

We found this wonderful restaurant while searching for Mexican while on the highway. What a gem! They seated us right away and were able to offer Gluten free options. Reasonably priced and cozy (see my photo of the decorated booth seat.)
Sadly my ‘flat Stanley’ travel buddy in the picture snuck away from me at the restaurant. I hope they can find him and return him ❣️
