All 5 stars! Food is delicious, portions are good. And the services is the best. If you like spicy, “Pollo a la Diabla” will be a great, spicy choice.

A wonderful surprise in a little town with not much in the way of restaurants. The food was very tasty, fresh ingredients. The veggie fajitas were delicious. The combo plate was very good as well. The homemade lemonade was a delightful treat. Staff were friendly and attentive.

The fajitas were absolutely incredible! They were packed with bold, mouthwatering flavor and cooked to perfection. Every bite was juicy, well-seasoned, and seriously satisfying ✨. On top of that, the portion size was generous — definitely enough to leave you full and happy without feeling skimpy at all.
Apologies for the less-than-perfect photo — we honestly couldn’t stop digging in before I remembered to snap a picture! That’s how good they were. The aroma alone made it impossible to wait.
If you’re craving something flavorful, filling, and made just right, these fajitas are a must-try . I’d order them again in a heartbeat!

If you find yourself passing through Battle Mountain and are looking for a spot with real character, you have to check out El Aguila Real. It is a total hidden gem with an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home.
The service is absolutely top-notch; the staff is attentive, quick, and always greets you with a smile. The location on Front Street is super convenient, making it the perfect pit stop to stretch your legs and grab a fantastic meal. The portions are generous, and the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. It’s places like this that make small-town Nevada so special!

Total small town gem, we stopped here to charge our EV and end up having lunch in this neighborhood authentic Mexican restaurant. Food was awesome with small town rustic vibe. Great service overall

Food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. They don’t have a drink menu so you just ask for a beer (from the bottle selection on the wall) and I ordered a margarita. It was good but I was surprised by the $14 price. It was $5 more than my meal! The Corona Light had a “best by” date of Feb 2024.

This is not authentic Mexican food. If you understand genuine Mexican cuisine, you know exactly what I mean. I ordered the supreme fajita, and the bell peppers, chicken, and beef were all burnt, as shown in the pictures. When I brought this to the waitress’s attention, he downplayed the issue and did nothing to address it. I didn’t even touch my food. Eventually, the same person returned, offering an insincere apology for his lack of respect and suggested he could take the food back without charging me, which was reasonable since I hadn’t eaten it.
He attempted to justify the burnt food by saying it was because it was cooked on a comal. Seriously? As if I don’t know what a comal is and the fact that food is not burnt if you are attending to it.

Complimentary warm chips, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Large portions of food served on a huge tray sized platter. Queso dip is delicious. Chicken mole tasty.

The best Mexican food in central Nevada!! (Sergio’s in Elko is pretty close tho…) I highly recommend the Chile Relleno, it’s made the good way with eggs, not breaded!! The family that runs it are such kind people too! Authentic as it gets!
By far the best place to eat in Battle Mountain;❤️
