This place is fantastic and I am so happy that I just randomly found it while driving in the area for something else. My husband and I are always on the prowl for amazing molcajete, and most of the time, we are a little disappointed. But not at this restaurant! This is by far the best legit Mexican food I’ve had in so long. Coming from Arizona, I have a pretty high standard for amazing Mexican food. I’ve found my happy place here, and I will gladly be returning again and again. Their margaritas, salsa, and Molcajete are outstanding! I can’t wait to come back and try more. This restaurant definitely does not skimp out on portion sizes either.

Both times my husband and I have been here, the ambiance has been super chill — perfect whether you’re having a business meeting or enjoying a late dinner. The food is Riquísima and the service is always great! Definitely one of our new favorite spots in Lakewood. (Ps My husband is an Hidrocálido)

We had my sister’s birthday party at the bar which they use for events and we loved everything about it! The food was delicious, the price for the amount of food was great! The drinks looked as good as they tasted too and had a wide variety of selection to choose from! The decor was perfect, and everyone there was so kind and helpful. We highly recommend booking the bar for all kinds of events.

New ownership!!! Julian is amazing. Food is fantastic! Handmade tortillas Saturday and Sunday. Taco Tuesdays! The fajitas and the molcajetes are amazing!!! Recommend over other dinner locations in the area. Amazing atmosphere with friendly staff.

My wife and I went here Saturday around noon. The place smells like sewage. The doors were open first so you don’t smell it right away. We sat there after ordering our food and two other customers walked in. When doors were closed it started smelling. We went to sit outside. We ordered queso and the consistency was off. It wasn’t hot and it was like Elmer’s Glue. We couldn’t even get one chip to not break. I was grossed out so we sent it back. We literally took one bite and sent it away. We each ordered a margarita and it was so gross I couldn’t drink it. It was a weird color for a regular margarita and tasted super strange. When we got outside the waitress NEVER came back out. My wife went inside to even get our check. The staff charged us for queso we didn’t even eat even after she said she wouldn’t. She had a terrible attitude and smirked at us. She made comments about my wife being black. Yes I understand Spanish even though I don’t look it. $83 wasted! I also vomited in the parking lot and I only took three bites of food. My wife vomited down the street at a red light. The ” waitress” also went out to her car to gather personal stuff and went behind the bar and started touching stuff and not once washed her hands. She was laughing at us but I’m going to be the one laughing when I make numerous calls to the Health Department and other places. Nasty place! Avoid at all costs!

The food and service is horrible! I gave this place 3 chances, and all were major disappointments. Waited over an hour on a non-busy night just to get microwave food, and for all of our orders to be completely wrong. Pretty sure their chef is some random dude from the street who also can’t read the menu.

We drove all the way from Greeley to try this restaurant. It was worth it!! The steak and shrimp ranchero was AMAZING!! Best steak I have ever had!! We got the giant purse Margarita, WOW!! It was beautiful and delicious! Can’t wait to come back!
