The atmosphere was decent, not too loud but we were there slightly after typical lunch time. The service was mediocre, the waitress seemed too busy to check on us regularly. There was only 1 or 2 other tables occupied when we got there, after about 30 minutes, we were the only customers. The food tasted fine but was barely above warm when it was served, halfway through is was leaning heavily towards cold.

It is rare when the food outperforms the description on the menu. Such was the case for El Agave (still sitting in the restaurant as I write this review). The menu clearly states the Choripollo comes with two grilled chicken breasts. Mine came with three. It was a pleasant surprise. Delicious! My only complaint is that there was not much cheese sauce. Otherwise, it was a perfect meal. Highly recommend. Jimmy, our server, was outstanding!

Very quick service everytime we have gone. Friendly staff and never a wait. Servers have your food out promptly. Typically within 20 minutes of you sitting down. Chill atmosphere. Great food great drinks great prices!

This is a really nice Mexican restaurant. I had the carne arsada. I couldn’t believe how much beef they gave me. It was tender and delicious. Everything was good.

Order was messed twice. Asked for no sour cream 1st miss when the brought out the rice and beans . I ordered the steak fajitas and it was a mix of meats. So we had to wait for that to be cooked. That wasn’t ideal since they were now going to be closing soon amd we had to get back to work. Food was ok nothing great. I get crap happens. Luckily we had a good server at least. She tried to get stuff fixed in a timely manner but can’t rush steak. Plus 2nd plate of food the skillet was so hot it burnt the veggies and steak that was on it.

I tried to eat here for my birthday tonight at the table right behind the hostess desk. and had to end up leaving.
The two salsa bowls we recieved upon sitting down were both dirty. After the server finally came to the table after 10 minutes, she took them, and never brought us any more. Our drinks were brought to us, when I recieved my drink there was a bug in it! Waited 20 minutes, my husband had finished his drink, after she came back she took my bug infested drink and had the worst attitude. We were brought cheese dip that we had ordered (no dipping bowls still), she had attitude the whole time, we decided it was not worth it and left. We told the host guy and the server came up with an attitude and told us we were good, we can leave.

I ate here multiple times with my freind and while the food is really good and the salsa is phenomenal, the chips are very oily. My freind had a negative reaction and didn’t feel well after eating here due to the oil they use.
