I’ve been to El Agave a number of times and the food and service have always been good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large.
The complimentary chips and salsa are always great but the salsa can be on the spicier side for some. I haven’t ordered anything I’ve disliked yet but the favorite thing I’ve ordered so far have been the Street Tacos, which were surprisingly filling. If you can’t decide, the Special Agave is a sampler with a lot of food and a little bit of everything.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars across the board is because, while still flavorful, the Chili Verde was overcooked and dry a few times I ordered it. Otherwise, each experience has been great.

Fantastic restaurant. I got the chorizo street tacos. They might be the best I’ve ever had. The tortillas themselves are top notch. Warm and fluffy not gritty like a lot of places. I don’t know if they make them or not but they are fantastic. Definitely worth trying

The staff is always so friendly. The food comes out VERY fast and is always good. Everytime I have a to go order the salsa is unbearable spicy but it never seems like that when I dine in.

Not authentic Mexican. This is a Tex-Mex restaurant. Service was fast and food was good. They start up by bringing chips and delicious red salsa (yummy). We ordered a Cactus Fajitas for 2 and it was more than enough. The steak was overbooked but the other meats were fine. I ordered a margarita but it was just ok. It tasted like a fruit iced tea. The restaurant has enough seating available for large groups as well.

Had a great family dinner here! They handled our party of 10 really well!! I got Enchiladas Supreme, and it was supremely good! The chunky guac with my chips was also really good. I put some on my enchiladas as well.

Overall good experience. Complementary chips and salsa included. Texas Fajitas had good seasoning and generous portions. Andre our server was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

Ordered a house margarita and it wasn’t until the bill came out I realized they charged me $24 for it without clearing it with me prior. That’s an insane price for what’s supposed to be a regular marg. It cost almost double my plate of food.

i have always seen this restaurant when i come to walmart. my friend and i came for dinner on monday around 6pm. i’ve been looking for an authentic mexican restaurant that’s flavorful, and this is definitely the place!
service was quick and the staff was very friendly! the food was good, the horchata was also good. the menu had a lot of options to choose from, definitely something for everyone. i got pollo y camarón, super good
