Worst place to eat. We got the salsa and white cheese dip and both were extremely watered down. Being wary of the meal we had just ordered I told our waitress to cancel , which she did. The manager was told we wanted to cancel our order and he became very rude and informed us we still had to pay for the food. (It wasn’t even cooked when I asked to cancel) he called the police because I wanted to cancel the order. The officers came in and spoke with us and then spoke to the manager. He was informed of the customer’s right to cancel even if the food was prepared. The manager told the officers he was going to complain to the chief of police about it. Needless to say I don’t regret cancelling the order for fear of how it would be. Then having seen the condemned sign and reading the inspection reports I’m glad we didn’t eat there

I called earlier today and ordered lunch to be picked up for me. I didn’t have their menu in front of me, of course, and said I wanted 2 quesadillas with rice and beans, but didn’t know if they have a meal like that. The young man (the owners’ son) said “no problem. I’ve got you”, so I trusted him to give me the meal I wanted. He told me that my total was $18 and change, which definitely seemed high, but I was hungry and it’s not up to me to police what they charge. BUT, when my order arrived, I got two separate containers with one quesadilla each and huge orders of rice and beans, each filling a whole entree container and weighing about a pound. He put my order in as 4 separate items and not a meal. No one asking for one meal wants/ needs 2 pounds of sides.
Confused, I called them back and again spoke to the son. He said I got what I ordered. I asked why he didn’t give me a quesadilla meal, with a normal amount of rice and beans and just add a second quesadilla on the side if they don’t have a meal that comes with 2, he said, really smugly, because I didn’t tell him to. He said he rang it all up separately on purpose and started laughing, saying “it’s not [his] fault” that I paid more, which makes no sense, because he’s the one who chose to do it that way.
This is a good restaurant, run by honest people, but I’ve seen their son be a jerk in the dining room to people irl and he’s been ugly to me on the phone before, too. I would handle this by speaking to the parents/owners, but the son is the one on register/phone, so I can’t contact They need to know that his behavior is consistently unacceptable when they aren’t around.

A friend I was visiting brought me here for lunch and the food was great. I had the Burrito Supreme and a side of beans, both were very good. My friend had the soft shell taco and rice and beans which he said was delicious. The salsa they make for the chips was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had.

we came twice during our stay in town. excellent servers both times. food was plentiful, excellent value, fresh, and high quality. mid afternoon even mid week, it was quiet but still had a few families, dinner was busy which i feel speaks to many people finding it good too. lovely family that appears to run it. great music even!!

Used to go here many times back when I lived in Manchester. The fajitas were always good. Got fajitas this time, but they were just missing something. I think that a new location and a refresh would help this place a lot. Service was great as always.

The wife is always awesome and pleasant!!! The husband, I could do without. Bad attitude and only hires servers he can make a move on!!!
Orders are prompt and really good!!! And if you have certain substitutions, they meet them!!!

We got in there stood at the front counter and waited to be seated. People behind us walked straight and went and sat down. We finally sat down waited 10 to 15 minutes no one came. But everyone else was being served. We was the only 2 colored people in there. We will not go back. It’s the only dine in restaurant in Manchester we left there and went to the new hibachi restaurant in pine mountain. It was delicious .

Food was great. Service was terrible. Waitress acted like she didn’t want to be there. We were the only customers for 15 and she still didn’t bring our drinks. She brought half of our food and another group came in and she went to wait on them before bringing the rest of our food. My daughter didn’t get her fish tacos until my other daughter had finished her meal.
