Very good Mexican food!
Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The tacos were amazing, the meat was juicy, and the salsa was perfect. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Great place to eat — I will definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

The second I walked in, I could tell this place was going to be awesome. The staff were super polite, really professional, and honestly looked like they worked at a fancy restaurant. The tables were spotless, and they took our drink orders right after we sat down, then checked if we were ready to order food.
The food came out in less than ten minutes, and it tasted amazing—like, seriously good. By the end, I was wishing I lived closer, because I’d definitely eat there all the time.

Since the new owners took over and the place got a new name, the improvement has been huge — honestly it feels like it’s 100% better than before! The atmosphere is nicer and everything seems more organized and enjoyable. One of the best additions is the full bar, which makes the experience even better if you want to relax with a drink.
The food is also fantastic, especially the authentic Mexican dishes. You can really taste the flavors and it feels much more genuine compared to before. Everything I tried was fresh and delicious.
Overall, the changes have really turned this place around. It’s definitely a spot that makes you want to come back again. I’ll for sure be visiting again soon!

On Saturday, February 14, 2026, we dined at El Agave Mexican Grill in Holly Springs, MS, and had an absolutely wonderful experience!
Our server, Mr. Alex, was professional, courteous, and exceptional in every way. He greeted us with a warm hug and Valentine’s Day wishes, which immediately made us feel welcomed and appreciated. That personal touch meant so much.
The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and served hot. There was no wait time for seating or service, and barely any wait for our food, and everything flowed smoothly and efficiently. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and comforting.
We traveled 49 minutes to dine at El Agave Mexican Grill, and it was worth every single mile. The genuine kindness and heartfelt hospitality truly set this place apart. As we were leaving, Mr. Alex and the manager gave us hugs for the road such a thoughtful and memorable gesture!
Thank you for the outstanding service and wonderful experience. We truly appreciate the care you put into your guests and look forward to returning again soon!

We’ve been loyal customers at El Agave for years, since our oldest was just 5 (she is about to be 17), and every single visit just gets better. The food has improved dramatically—fresh, flavorful, and never processed. The restaurant itself is spotless and welcoming, which is a huge plus.
But what really sets El Agave apart? The customer service!
You truly won’t find better. No matter when we come, we’re greeted with genuine warmth and treated like family. With limited dining options in town, El Agave is our go-to spot every time.
If you want amazing food, a clean and friendly environment, and to be treated like a VIP, you need to try El Agave. Highly recommend! (I did not get a picture of my food because I was so hungry…lol)

Friendly and very attentive staff, fast service, excellent food, good prices. Even provided extra drinks in to-go cups without any prompting from us, the waitress just offered them as we were nearly done with our meals, and even at no extra charge as it turned out. Great little Mexican restaurant, and I’m really glad we decided to try this place out.

Ordered per phone. Second time order was wrong. Ordered chicken nachos with shredded chicken (it wasn’t shredded) grilled veggies (didn’t receive those at all) pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole on the side. Sour cream was on the chicken and lettuce. They didn’t even give me chips under the chicken. Chicken had no flavor. Lettuce was wilted. Everyone says this is a great restaurant. I don’t see it.

My all time favorite Mexican restaurant! Wife and I go about 2 to 3 times a month. Been going for years. Used to try other Mexican restaurants and we end up saying “we should have gone to Holly Springs.” New owner, Martin, has done a lot of updates, very clean and festive. Keep up the great work, Martin!
