We welcome you to El Adobe Mexican Grill! This is a beautiful Historic Tex Mex full service restaurant with Flip’s Cantina inside which has a full bar and tv’s. We also have gorgeous outside patio seating with a waterfall and plants that are beautiful in spring and summer. Unique atmosphere and well over 40 years in business!!

In town for an event and love tex mex so we decided to try this place. Everything was good…chips and salsa, margaritas and our entrees. Only negative about the food was the rice was not Mexican rice and had little flavor. The hostess was very distracting. It took her a while to seat us and when she did she spent most of the time chatting loudly with the table next to us. I usually don’t complain about stuff but I felt this needed to be addressed. We will come back if in town again.

Food and service were good. Prices were very reasonable. Best beans I have ever eaten as a side in a Tex-Mex meal. Tasted fresh and weren’t as dry as most beans are that you get as a side. A/C felt good after a long drive. The beef in the taco was generous and tasted good. Only downside, I liked the way the salsa was served, but I didn’t like the taste. Not your usual canned salsa so I assume they make their own but I didn’t like the flavor. I appreciate their attempt though.

Don’t waste your time going to this place. There wasn’t nothing Mexican about it. The wait was long, the food was below average, and the portion sizes were small especially for how expensive it was. I couldn’t get over how disgusting even the salsa was. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the actual Mexican restaurant down the road. Oh, and many of the girls working had on athletic shorts, t-shirts, and didn’t even have their hair pulled back. They looked sloppy and unprofessional. One of my bottom 3 Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten around the country.

This is literally our favorite place to eat!! Weekly visits, AMAZING food, large portion sizes, and the staff is always working hard and so friendly to everyone who enters! Salsa is the bomb and the pina coladas are the best around!!! Family owned and operated- we love our El Adobe

We stopped in because we read they were dog friendly. Boy was that an understatement! They loved our little dog, she got lots of attention from the staff. I could be picky and point out some things here and there that could be better with the food/service, and it seemed like maybe our waitress was new, didn’t ask if we wanted another round of beers or dessert etc. but you know it was so friendly of a place we won’t hold any of that against them and we’ll be back next time we are in the area.

The person seating us literally told us someone who had already ate was a more important customer than us waiting to be seated to order. Same guy went around telling the same stupid jokes to every table.
